Israel sent the items to the US in December 2019 for a Hanukah event at the White House. The artefacts were meant to be displayed for the 2019 event and then returned to Israel. The artefacts, which include a set of ancient coins and ceramic oil lamps, have been at the estate since December 2021, according to the New York Times. Previous efforts by senior Israeli officials to retrieve the artefacts over the past several months had failed."
My question is, if you are president, and you are easily impressed by things you get access to from being president, why can't you just keep them after you are done being president? What good is it to spend all of this money and devote all of this time to running for president if you can't keep some things when it is all said done? Whether they are ancient artifacts from Israel, Pentagon war plans, classified docs, Hunter's dick pics, why can't you keep stuff to show off to your friends and family to impress them later?
As Ben Shapiro so eloquently opines; Trump just likes to keep things....he sees something, he likes it, so he keeps it...now I can see how if some lower regular person did something like that, he would be called a thief -- but isn't it different when a former president does it? So when Trump wanted to keep all of those classified docs, he didn't mean any harm...he just liked having them around, so he kept it..what's the big deal? Now if this was any other president who isn't known for being easily impressed by things that they just simply take them and keep it; then those people having classified docs or anything of the sort would definitely be treason and punishable by death...
However, one must ask.....if Trump is such a careless kleptomaniac...to where he does something that even someone like Ben says is reckless and stupid....why do we want him to be back in office and have access to this shit again??
