If a transgender person joins the Mormon church, what is their status?

If they were born a boy but switched legally to being a girl, would they be assigned boy duties or girl duties? Could they get married in the temple?

No idea what their status would be. I presume they would be considered the original gender because gender is an Eternal attribute, but I couldn't swear to that. Im glad I dont have to make that call.
