THOUGHTS FROM AN INDEPENDENT

YES...it's early folks, but I think the dye has been cast on the 2020 election, and here it is:

* The Democrats will win back the White House: Sorry Trump supporters...you can yell "deep state" "socialism" "open borders" "soft on crime" and all the other slick stuff you hear on FOX and friends, but it's not going to be enough. Donald Trump's erratic behavior, womanizing, name calling, and sucking up to every murderous dictator on the planet is not what most Americans want for a President. (and we're still waiting for MEXICO to pay for that wall!)

* The Democrats will win back the Senate: It's going to be close, district gerrymandering will help the GOP Senators up to a point, but there is just too much pent up anger with this "do nothing" group to save them.

* Donald Trump and his family will face some very ugly legal realities once he leaves office: With no executive privilege, pardons, or directives regarding inditing a sitting president to hide behind, the Trump family's legal woes will dog them for many years to come.

Trump could have salvaged a 2nd term, but he has lied a bit too much, didn't deliver those manufacturing jobs, made too many political enemies, has been unable to maintain a stable staff, and made no attempt to reach out to those independent and swing voters who decide elections.

The Democrats won't have to be at their best to win this time around, Trump has made it too easy for them.
Another BLUE wave is coming...

Those are the facts Jack. Just the facts!

The Democrats will find themselves trapped in a political trash compactor, with no escape possible.

With who? Have you seen the Democrat candidates? Laughable at best.

* The Democrats will win back the Senate: It's going to be close, district gerrymandering will help the GOP Senators up to a point, but there is just too much pent up anger with this "do nothing" group to save them.
Again, with who? And what is the current crop of Democrats doing that's any different from their opposition?
* Donald Trump and his family will face some very ugly legal realities once he leaves office: With no executive privilege, pardons, or directives regarding inditing a sitting president to hide behind, the Trump family's legal woes will dog them for many years to come.

Doubtful. The Democrats in 2025 will be too mired down in their own legal troubles.

My prediction is people that predict should never be taken seriously because they tend to be unstable enough to apply their own desires to a lack of real world understanding.

Just for fun I will predict that that you are wrong because you are crazy.

I hope only one of your first two predictions comes true, do not really care which.

The country is far better off when different parties hold the Senate and the White House.

Honestly, Democrats are going to have a very difficult time winning the White House, because they are so damn stupid when it comes to politics. Democrats have a magical ability to lose a sure thing. They've been doing it for decades, and they're continuing on that very same path today. The current circus of 25 candidates is embarrassing. And for all their complaints about undignified behavior, they're doing the same thing. Just like Clinton in 2016, Democrats are repeating the same mistake of believing all you need to win is to be present and not-Donald Trump.

Please explain the effect "gerrymandering" has on a senate race.

Is there an effect on presidential races?

There is no gerrymandering in the Senate. It is a statewide election

Like most elections, voter turnout will be the key

Dems need to generate enough outrage against Trump to get out the vote

If that happens, the Senate, House, Governorships and State Houses will follow

I agree, the Dems only hope is someone that nobody is even talking about now coming off the sidelines and getting into the race.

An "independent" who mostly voted for the DNC undoubtedly :113:

With a booming economy, Trump should be a shoe in

But we are dealing with Trump

Flinging arrows in the dark? Wearing blinders or living in your own private Idaho (thanks, B-52's)? In some reality only the postmodernist core of the Democrat Party can describe and see, they hold some sort of moral high ground from a perpetual state of moral outrage over one man. The crucial difference between the American Left and the American People at large? The American Left sees its arch, primary enemy as one man, who if removed from the White House, will open their road to permanent political power. The American People at large on the other hand, recognize the entirety of the Left and its broad spectrum of postmodernism poison as the greatest enemy of our nation, civilization and way of life. How in the hell you and so many other radical converts to said extreme leftism can assume moral high ground when you stand for all that is anti-human and anti-Western Civilization, would be quite fascinating, if your fervor and hypocrisy were not so immediately dangerous to the continued existence of America as we've always known it.

You think the banishment of one man will usher in the first foundation stone of neo-Utopia, and somehow after his demise the people of our great nation will just fall in line and bow their heads to whatever cultural perversion you hand down next. You couldn't be further from reality, the one where the majority of Americans are disgusted and forming mobs of their own over infanticide, late term abortion, mutilation of children to fit the perfect cultural Marxist image, a return to pestilent cities of filth, anti-patriotism, anti-Christianity, anything goes moral nihilism, etc. Your greatest miscalculation? You've greatly underestimated the will of the American People to conform to the psychotic insanity that is the new religion of postmodernism.

We will fight for the lives and freedom of our children; freedom from your madness.

I like how the OP calls himself an independent. Democrats often claim not to be Democrats to lend their post credibility.

He has no idea what he's writing. He's just trying to make an intellectual statement and he is getting his information from the
3rd graders at recess.
