However to vote you must register a month ahead of time, sign affidavit, pass background checks, occupancy checks, citizenship test, take off work, drive far away to assigned polling place, stand in long lines show current valid photo ID & hope you were not scrubbed from voter roll for a huge variety of reasons & the official allows you to vote.

It would be nice if the 80+ million gun owners put aside any differences and did the same thing, if anything, so that the anti-gun crowd could see just how many pro-gun people are out there.

Unfortunately most of us work. And schools will not write us excuses or provide us with buses to transport us from our non urban communities. We have opted instead to pour more money into the nra and into purchasing a lot more semi autos. I have fallen in love with AR15s and am gifting everybody in my family with them along with cans of ammo and vehicle roof harness things so they can keep them with them in their travels.

It doesn't matter, right now with these protests Democrats are going to ban semi automatics. The American public is sick of them.

Just judging that the 9 mass killings since 2010 were done with "recent" purchase's of these weapons, I would say YES that banning them would probably stop future ones. Obviously, the ones that have owned them for years haven't used them to slaughter innocents--so we can presume that the stop sale of them would prevent future ones, or at least most of them.
