No. I do not live in Seattle but I have tons of relatives in that city. Two separate families own restaurants. One of them sea food along Alaskan Way. About 28 works for the city that deals with building, licenses, permits, inspections, employment and health inspectors where I get my sources.
But most works for Boeing. At R&D they are also looking using touch pad technology from your seat. Instead of stewardess walking down the aisle asking you what you want. This automation in progress BUT this has nothing to do with wage increases but efficiency.
