One could look at it as the insurers will find it a hell of a lot cheaper on their bottom line, funding for an abortion rather than paying for some unwanted kid into adulthood.
The really stupid insurers actually won't even pay for contraception. They would rather spend a hell of a lot more money out of their pockets for some wellness care for the kid until he/she reaches 23 years of age.
