Obama Wants $7 Gallon Gas!!!!

We will have $7/gal gas, it is only a matter of time.

Consider this.
When gas was $4/gal the economy was booming.
Will the recession be over when gas goes back up to $4/gal?

The recession will never be over unless obama doesn't need a crsis to push an agenda.

Huh... you don't recall the gloom and doom out of every major news organization (even sometimes Fawkes News) badmouthing how bad things were and hypervenilatig on how the high gas prices was strangling the middle class? No? Dealt with it for about a year before W ended the moratorium. And "POP!" just like that the price of gas around the WORLD plummeted to pre bubble levels plus inflation which was about a buck sixty a gallon from when this bubble took off.

This is intellectual laziness for a poltical point. We were dong MUCH MUCH better economically than we are now, but none of the core issues that were still problems then have been addressed even today except the drilling moratorium. In fact, P-BO has gone and made it a whole lot worse in an effort to GET his 8 dollar gallons of gas. And He will get it now. Faster than he wants, but he will get it.

We don't have an oil bubble this time and many of the speculators have been wiped out already, but don't worry, enough still have the money to do horrific damage to this nation... thanks to P-BO's plan to destroy the nation through economic incompetence.

Cloward and Piven would be proud.

So, let's look at it from this perspective...

What would 7$ gas do to unemployment? Minimum wage workers can barely afford gas at current prices. So when it's double the price or more, what will happen to their ability to drive to work?

The warming crowd doesn't want them to drive to work. They want everybody taking public transportation, except them of course. The elite will be able to afford the high prices and will still drive. Public transport is more suited to us common folk.

Don't forget the "poor" as I am very sure that there will be enough hand out free gas entitalment programs for them to afford all the gas they need to get to their "jobs"

The only ones that this will hurt is the middle class

It is the goal of the econazis to destroy civilization when you take their philosophy to it's logical end. It is anti human.

Wasn't that before McCain suspended his campaign to straighten things out with the economy?

A non-sequiter, but too tempting to let alone. Good to see you admit by your silence you're ignoring the media's reactions during the 4 dollar gas days.

McCain is a political opportunist out for personal political power ever since he got beat by W back in 2000. Before that he was one of the Keating Five.

I do not trust the man and think he'd sell his own mother for the presidency.

Whatever handle he had on honor and values he let slip in Vietnam. The only difference I think we would have seen between the P BO presidency and his is the pile of shit we would be in now being off by fraction of inches and the RINOs would be cheering for it. Oh, and I doubt there'd be a Tea Party movement of any significance because the disasters that is he Obama administration wouldn't have happened quite so much.

Same destination though... a socialist America... just on bus, not by rocket ship.

Ohh I quite agree that we would not have had a Tea Party of and significance if McCain had been elected. But my logic for this conclusion differs from your.

But I do not think the economic situation and such would have been one bit better if McCain had been elected.

But I do not think the economic situation and such would have been one bit better if McCain had been elected.

Our economic situation would be better in one key arena: no national healthcare fiasco we have now. That being said, I'm saying that what would have been passed would have been smaller, not better or right. Just smaller and that's still not good enough.

I was wrong in saying not one bit better. It may have worked out a bit better or worse.
But I feel there would have been no significant difference whether McCain or Obama as pres. Up to this point anyway.

different color and shapes of the turds and maybe a smaller pile for one. But we'd still be buried in the shit.

That's why RINOs are no different than Dems.

Ohh they are different in many ways but partisan politics just plain sucks.
Politics is just an industry now.

Yes there are differences, but I'm talking anyone who is a moderate. They have no ideological backbone save one philosophy: stay in power. They will lie cheat and steal to keep it. Say anything to anyone and vote for what's popular over what's right. These are the people who need removal most of all. So I was incorrect at saying RINOs are just Dems, because the left have DINOs as well. And this mushy middle is the problem

Actually if the federal gas tax in the US was raised by 1.50 per gallon and smokes were raise by 50 cents a package with 2.50 added to a case of beer, bottle of wine, and bottle of liquor the deficit would be eliminaited in 3 years. From than on Medicare would be funded at a rate of 100 % for all Americans. Simply by taxing booze, smokes, and gas.

Simple enough even for you cave dwellers to understand?

That is stupid. What is important is why people think you are a pediphile.

No kidding? Just more taxes and all our problems go away. More taxes....that's the rub, Yukon. Just gives a bigger kitty to raid from the politicians.

Well of course he want gas to be way expensive.

AFter all. They must wean us of our addiction to oil. LOL

What does it matter that lots of folks can't afford $7 a gallon gas.

We can all go on Welfare when the jobs really dry up and we are all unemployed.

Of course if that happens there won't be any money to fund the Clowns or the Govt. or Barry Boys left wing agenda.

Hmmmm. Might be worth a shot at that. LOL
And ween us onto.... nothing. There is nothing that can replace petroleum and fossil fuels.

You can't ween a nation off a power source that is almost 100% dependent on for all transportation and a critical physical resource like plastic without having it's replacement ready to roll.

Petroleum Products in Our Daily Lives

Since Cheeto's isn't on your list I don't think you'll hear the liberals complaining.

How well did prohibition work again? Now, let's do the same damn thing on a critical resource instead of a luxury item.

Nooooooo.... I can't see ANY disaster coming from this.
