Ok, he said he had the authority to take action, he did it in Libya and nothing much was said about it. A little bit of squawking but not much from Congress. He said if he took this action it would make America Stronger, how so?

What he is doing, in my opinion, is putting it on the Republicans. If they vote yes that gives him momentum for the other stuff he wants to do, if they vote no then any further deaths will be on them.

That said, if he has the authority and it will make America stronger then why wait two weeks???
