Obama...Ripping America Apart

It's not just Obama. It's not just the GOP. It's not only the Dems. It all three combined. It is the lack of maturity and the lack of the art of compromise. It's also Big Money dictating policy of both major parties..
Trying to blame one person or one party is intellectual dishonesty.
Really good point

even a president romney won,t be able to change this issue. Congress need to change really. Untill both left and right understand that they need think less ideological and more working together for american people nothing will get done.

I'm thinking a fresh start with Romney is more likely to work out than the proven failure Obama has turned out to be.

but.. I'd agree the Congressional Representatives and Senators need their butts kicked.

I'm a conservative and Romney is to close to the middle ground for me.

I'm thinking that he'll do plenty to piss me off by negotiating policy with Democrats but for me Obama is far to much of a lefty and far to divisive for me to ever accept as qualified anymore.

I agree.
ANY strategy IS better then hope!

Obama is more of a centrist than most think. His biggest problem is he doesn't know how to work with people. His inflated ego will not allow him to believe anyone else might have a good idea. He will never be able to reach across the isle when he calls Republicans his enemy.

Romney is and always has been a moderate. However, he's spent many years negotiating deals and making compromises. He's a business man that realizes it's not always about you, sometimes you have to give a little to get a lot.

As long as Pelosi and Reid have any amount of power, we'll never move beyond where we are now.

obama hasn't ripped anything apart. The nation is divided. The ideological divisions are so deep and wide that there is no point of compromise.

Only if you want to remain in this stagnant quagmire and watch your own country stand still while the rest of the world passes us by.

Is the way out of the quagmire to give in to liberalism. The liberals should give in to conservatives instead.

Better the stagnant quagmire than a future like Greece.

In light of republicans voting against their own ideas and calling them socialism I wonder just what Obama could have ever done to unite the nation other than resign and commit suicide.

Two questions.

#1 are you the person in the photo?
#2 are you really advocating the death of a fellow human being?

true but don,t expect it to get much better with congress much quickly. its very partisan place. a president romney will have his work cut out to get things done either

Very true but to be honest on both sides their are idelogies. You got people like peroisi and reid who help create a divide while on other side people like eric cantor and mitch mconnel who are themselvesvery parisan. So hard to get things done with such idelogical thiniking from leading figures.

nobody should give in to anyone. it should be equal from both sides . that what compromise all about.

In the end a president romney will have work cut out getting anything done with a still very divided congress.

Never could, never was going to and never will. Moot question.

And America is doing a great job of ripping itself a part all on it's own. If you think McCain winning 4 years ago or Romney winning in a month would've or will bring this country together, I pity your delusions.
You don't say!

It's kinda hard to bring compromise when the other party's goal is to make you a one-term president. And they did the best they could to meet their objective.
And not to let the Dems off the hook, I expect the same un-American and anti-"We the People" crap if Romney is elected prez.
I really wish people would wise up and throw all the bums out and I'm being inclusive with both parties.

In once sense that be best thing for america. to have both sides thrown out would make each side wake up to americans despair at the parisan hatred. liberals did it to bush. The conservatives to obama. They never learn and untill you throw them out in one sense nothing changes.

LOL!! Yes he's a centrist, he doesn't really like people challenging him. He'd rather play in the middle than have any opposition. He's a centrist because of his need to feel Godly, not because he likes it.

In the history of the US of A, there has many years of polarization, until a we are attacked and go to war to assert our frustrations upon our enemy. Don't forget that even after the USof A was established after the Revolutionary War, there was much olarization. Just think of all the polarization before during and after the Civil War, when our frustrations were taken out on the defeated Confederacy.

More presidents are elected because of their centrists stance. It is what the American voter likes.
