Obama, GM & Jeff Immelt all sent jobs overseas, why is this ignored?

Obama essentially gave GM the money to build the new plant in China. He has as his jobs czar a man that has shipped far more jobs overseas than he has created here in the US. On top of that GE was busted for doing business with our fucking enemy (Iran) despite the embargo. And on top of that his company paid 0 fucking federal taxes.

Why....WHY....WHY, is this being swept under the rug?

Perhaps because Obama has so much shit on top of the rug there is no where left to put it?

Aren't we taxpayers mighty proud to know that we GM shareholders are building a nice new plant in China?

Funny shit is.... Chris will come on and create a thread about GM opening up a new plant somewhere here in the US but he will leave out the fact that there is now a vacum creating that need because of the jobs shipped to China.

Hes such a tool

I don't accept Grampa's "known facts", but it is fair to ask "why aren't Republicans talking more about Democrats that have been involved in outsourcing/offshoring/etc. American jobs?" I think the answer is simple: it would keep the focus on outsourcing/offshoring/etc. which can only be bad for Romney. If the election is about who outsourced American jobs Romney will lose. Instead he seems to have chosen to let the outsourcing story die out.

Feel free to point out where my facts are wrong.

Obama is supremely confidant that he can pull the wool over enough people's eyes to get elected.
The media is there, with the sole purpose of aiding and abetting him in that task.
There was the cartoon a while back with Obama standing in front of a collapsed building, labeled of course, the American economy with Obama pointing off in a different direction than the building saying "Look! Rich people!"
With the advent of Fox News and the internet things are a little bit dicier for his being able to get away with that. The Obama campaign would love to have everyone out there singing along in unison with the little school kiddies "O bow ma! O bow ma! O bow ma!" They've temporarily lost that ability and they want it back.

Yep:clap2:

I would love if Mitt Romney started talking about how some corporations don't pay any taxes. Obama is on record saying he wants to close corporate tax loopholes (Barack Obama on Budget & Economy) and Mitt Romney has signed a pledge not to raise taxes on any entity, including those that currently pay no taxes (Romney finds 'no new taxes' promise suits him after all - The Boston Globe). This was also a flip-flop for Romney. Why would this be a winning issue for Republicans?

GE Has Shed U.S. Jobs Since “Jobs Czar” Immelt Took Helm - Stocks To Watch Today - Barrons.com

Of course, General Electric (GE) has sold divisions and made acquisitions that make it a different company than it was in 2000, when Immelt took over (he was named CEO in November 2000, not 2001, as previously reported). But overall, the company has fewer employees, and is much more reliant on foreign workers, than it was when he began his tenure. At the end of 2000, GE employed 313,000 people, including 168,000 in the U.S. (54%). By the start of 2010, when the company filed its most recent annual report, GE had 304,000 workers, including 134,000 in the U.S. (44%).
