Obama defeats Al Qaeda

Al Queda has been losing popularity for quite a long time. Really--if you take a look at Iraq & the number of civilians that Al Queda has slaughtered there along with the bombing a few years ago of a Muslim wedding in Jordan.

The author Criss--would love to give credit to Obama--but in reality it is because Bush took the war to them in their backyards--that has caused Al Queda popularity to crumble.

No, it is because the most unpopular president in American history just left office, and the man who replaced him is very popular around the world. These things make a difference for us in accomplishing our goals.

When asked what he had learned in his first term in office, George Bush said, "Words matter."

Yes they do, George. Yes, they do.

Yeah--we "saw" how much the world loved our teleprompter President just last week. You remember ms-pms/CNN & other main stream media outlets stated that Michelle had won the GOLD medal & Barack the Silver--for the "in the bag" Chicago olympics---:lol::lol::lol: Chicago was voted down FIRST ROUND--that's how much the "world" loves Obama---:lol:

No--there is a very funny thing about terrorists & the middle eastern mindset. They don't seem to mind Al Queda when they run around the world killing "other" non-Muslim innocents. In fact they cheer it. But when that war gets located in their back yard-& they start losing their own due to Al Queda suicide bombings---Al Queda gets kicked to the curb

Al Queda has been losing popularity for several years because of President Bush & his determination to keep this country safe.

Hardly.

It must be tough to be on the losing side of history.

Obama gaining in the polls. Healthcare reform gaining as well.

You aren't going to start crying like Glenn Beck are you?

"Obama "gaining in the polls"--:lol::lol: Healthcare reform gaining-aka the "public option" OBAMA'S plan--as well--:lol:

It's clear the thumbsuckers are still on-line--way-way-past their bedtime.

So, lemme get this straight: BHO has no strategy as of yet in Afgahanistan - status quo of the last administration's strategy for now - and he's following through on the last administration's strategy in Iraq; and BHO is doing a bang-up job on the wars?

Hmmmm.

Maybe I need to be stoned?

Dunno.

The Barry is all fucked up right now. His first foray into military strategy has gotten 870 civilains killed including women and children.

When will he learn that he MUST listen to the advice of the boots on the ground instead of thinking he's playing Rainbow 6 on his PlayStation.

It's just that simple, too.

Actually he did lay out a grand strategy with all of the pompous flair associated with his style of press conferences.....in March of 2009.

However...as it turns out...it was a pathetic attempt to appease the left wing loons who got him elected...thus it was doomed to failure.

Naturally, because its all just a popularity contest.... Thats all that matters. Popularity. Actually doing things makes no difference whatsoever.

A loss of popular support has ended many terrorist groups, and it is a plausible scenario for al Qaeda. Support can be compromised through miscalculation, especially in targeting, and popular backlash. The Real Irish Republican Army and India's Sikh separatists come to mind. Or a campaign can fail to convey a positive image or progress toward its goals, which amply applies to al Qaeda.

While the group continues to be dangerous, the faltering popularity of this campaign with most Muslims provides clear evidence of this dynamic underway.

For instance, a Pew Global Attitudes Project poll released in September showed a remarkable drop in support for suicide bombing and Osama bin Laden in key Muslim-majority countries such as Pakistan, Egypt, Turkey and Jordan. In Pakistan, whereas some 41 percent approved of suicide terror attacks five years ago, that number has fallen to a mere 5 percent today.

Obama's priority list:

Healthcare
Domestic Policy
Beer in the Rose Garden
Going out on dates
Race relations

and then finally way down the ladder

Strategy in Afghanistan and the welfare of our troops.

If we don't take care of the cost of healthcare and domestic policy, including the economy, then we won't have the money to fight Republican wars in foriegn lands. Thanks for pointing that out.

Yep--it appears that 100 Taliwackers attacked one of our outposts over the weekend & killed 8 of our soldiers.

In truth--Criss the author believed that just Obama getting elected would bring everyone in the world together singing Cum-by-ya--they would lay down their weapons & world peace would finally be achieved--without a single shot being fired.-----:lol::lol:

Criss also has not been around too long. Everyone knows that Al Queda has been losing popularity in the middle east for several years now--do to Bush putting the war in their back yards instead of ours.

And if we're all dead due to terrorist attacks--there sure won't be any need for a good economy or health care--:lol::lol::lol:

Though we Americans like to think of ourselves as the center of the universe, the reason for the lessening support for terrorism is most probably because of a general change in attitude in Arab Islamic society.

Obama's election certainly changed the world's view of America, and it probably helped somewhat, but Obama himself really didn't do much other than just getting elected and being black.

Societies go thru mood swings....

More likely you would die from losing the insurance you never had than a terrorist. Unless, that terrorist is a right wing Christian conservative Republican like Timothy McVeigh.
