Obama defeats Al Qaeda

How about this??

We give the soldiers credit?

Duh ... but they didn't issue the order in the first place, so Bush does get credit as well. But not Obama.

Kitten, God Damn it we are Americans

This bit about rooting against a major victory for AMERICA because you are afraid who gets credit for it is pathetic.
Defeating AlQaeda is good for the entire world. We need to do what it takes to finish the job and not worry about who gets political points

Oh correct! Coming from those that blame Bush for Chicago losing the election. Can't have it both ways.

Then why is it people are giving "political points" to Obama?

Its sad really......

This country is fractured. We can no longer root for a strong US Economy, we can't root for Chicago to win the Olympics, we can't root for the eventual destruction of AlQaeda because we are afraid of who gets credit.

Let me put on my Glenn Beck hat here. What happened to the United States of 9-12? The country that flew flags from every house and car? Where everyone was proud to be an American and rallied together?

We are now a country that openly roots for bad employment figures, hopes AlQaeda can hold out until Obama leaves office, hope Osama bin Laden doesn't get captured. All for meaningless political affiliations

The right wing is cheering for Al Qaeda. Praying that there will be a successful attack in the U.S., so they can criticize Obama.

Meanwhile with words and deeds Obama has devastated the mythology of islamic extremism.

After Obama's speech in Cairo, Hezbollah lost the election in Lebanon, the Pakistanis went after the Taliban, and the Mullahs lost the election in Iran and had to steal it. Now support for AQ is fading as well.

Leadership is gaining support for your goals from your allies. Bush turned our allies against us. Obama has our allies working for us.

Contact Michael Moore on 9/12 issues. As for the left, which isn't all Democratic Party members, what you sow you reap.

No, Bush and Obama merely shifted who our allies are. You are a one track mind and the train has been derailed for almost a year now.

Its what America reaps...

We reap open hatred because of political affiliation, we reap people screaming at someone in a wheelchair asking for healthcare, we reap people hoping for a recession, we reap people hoping AlQaeda can hold on.....all because we don't like the President

Yes it goes both ways

Both sides should be ashamed of themselves. There was a time when people put America first and political affiliations aside. It is turning into an ugly country

Then you should have spoken up in days gone by. Perhaps even now you can, by chastising what went on the past 8 years. I know I did plenty of that, regarding Clinton when that was the excuse of the day.

A loss of popular support has ended many terrorist groups, and it is a plausible scenario for al Qaeda. Support can be compromised through miscalculation, especially in targeting, and popular backlash. The Real Irish Republican Army and India's Sikh separatists come to mind. Or a campaign can fail to convey a positive image or progress toward its goals, which amply applies to al Qaeda.

While the group continues to be dangerous, the faltering popularity of this campaign with most Muslims provides clear evidence of this dynamic underway.

For instance, a Pew Global Attitudes Project poll released in September showed a remarkable drop in support for suicide bombing and Osama bin Laden in key Muslim-majority countries such as Pakistan, Egypt, Turkey and Jordan. In Pakistan, whereas some 41 percent approved of suicide terror attacks five years ago, that number has fallen to a mere 5 percent today.

What did he do, hold up the white flag of surrender and call it a win? Just like they are touting the no stimulus stimulus bill as working.:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Five years ago Bush and Cheney were turning the world against us.

Obama has changed world opinion in our favor.

And he didn't have to invade Iraq to do it.

Leadership is gaining support for your goals among your allies.

Obama has changed world opinion??????????? Now you are really streching there?? Iran fires off missiles, south korea firing off missiles both continuing with their nuke programs. Chicago voted out in FIRST round to host the olympics even though Obama and Michelle went to give speeches to promote Chicago. Sarkosy mad as hell at Obama over light weight response to Iran. Afgahanistan falling apart and we are going to lose over there because Obama can't lead and be decisive about a surge. Get real and get some reality. :cuckoo::cuckoo:

Let me show you how to shut up Kitty Litter. It's really quite simple. It works on most Republicans.

First, ask about Iraq and they will tell you what a success it is. Now, it's a democracy friendly to the US and the people have purple fingers. Well, they're giving us the finger all right.

Check out women's rights. Oh yea, they are free. Free to live out their lives in bags.

How the US Erase Women’s Rights in Iraq

Then, check out "religious freedom". Oh wow, we certainly helped the Christians. Funny that many Christian Americans didn't even know that Christians live in Iraq. Well, not so many now. Yea, they were there BEFORE the Muslims. 800 years before. Of course, with nearly all if not all their churches burned to the ground and their women raped and forced to marry Muslim men, that religion is teetering on being a dead religion in Iraq. And they can thank us. We help do that.

Iraq Christian leader denounces latest attacks

Then there is the Iraqi Constitution that Republicans are soooo proud of. We helped give them that freedom. Sooooo happy, until you read it. Then it's "WTF?" Don't tell me this is what our sons and daughters died for? This?

I won't go into what the Iraqi constitution does for women, oops, I mean does TO women. I'll just point out Article 2 and 3:

Article 2:

First: Islam is the official religion of the State and it is a fundamental source of legislation:

A. No law that contradicts the established provisions of Islam may be established.

Article 3:

(Iraq is a country of many nationalities, religions and sects and is a founding and active member of the Arab League and is committed to its covenant. Iraq is a part of the Islamic world.)

And we all know what Islam is like. Their constitution is based on Islam. What do you think that means?

Now, we can listen to the chorus of the right, "Liar, that's bs, that's not true", but they don't say it with much conviction, because they know it's true. This is the Bush and Republican legacy. America thanks you.

Fuck this, the neolib Obamaborg are just plain assholes now. Thanks for proving my point in another thread:

Obama gets credit for anything good that happens even when it's not his actions that did it, Bush gets all the blame even when Obama is the one that fucks up.

Obama can't be at fault for anything, Bush is at fault for everything.

You know what, as much as I thought Bush was an idiot, I actually feel sorry for him now.

and so begins the miscalculations that got us into this predicament in the first place.

uhhhh...you think the fact that you get blown up into little pieces might be a definate con for suicide bombing popularity...or is it the fact that most of the radicals have been whacked in the killing fields of Iraq and Afghanistan....I think the latter.

Does it really matter who gets credit?

No, but then why are they trying to make it sound like it's all because of Obama?

Not to mention, almost everyone has been against Bush going over there in the first place, yet as we see now, if he hadn't this good news wouldn't have come about, now would it? Not to mention that everyone called Bush a complete failure just because they didn't like him, hell, I thought he was an idiot to but I know he did some things right, Obama on the other hand is a phony and doesn't deserve credit for anything he doesn't do either but is still taking the credit.

Why do we keep going down this path?

People opposed Bush going into Iraq.
Nobody opposed the invasion of Afghanistan where AlQaeda was located

Thats a lie. There are some of you fellow liberals here that has opposed both wars from the get go.

Can you be specific and resist slinging more bullshit?

How did he do that? was it when he offended the Brits? When he betrayed the Poles? When he abandoned Tibet? Threatened to Bomb Pakistan? Insulted Israel? Was mocked by the French?

When exactly?

And we just lost the Republicans. They see the words, "Iraqi Christians killed" and "No law that contradicts the established provisions of Islam may be established" but their eyes glaze over and they only see, "Blah blah blah blah". Then they say, "Moron, nothing you said makes sense". And they are right. To them, it didn't.

The thing that trips me out is rather than simply shut the fuck up some dumb ass has to come along and make some sort of personal attack...perhaps someone you've encountered before?

First off, I can't specifically recall addressing any of your posts in the past and now all of a sudden we are related...furthermore, quoting me to tell me I'm being ignored seems a bit...well...lame.
