Now There's An Important Subject!!! LMAO!!!

A "local" issue you say? From the article:

Plus, there is zero federal law proposed, and zero funding for anti-bullying laws, let alone "billions." Why do you people have to lie? We get that you hate Obama with a passion, but why do you have to continue, er, with your bullying tactics? He won, you lost. Deal with it at the next election.
I didn't say there were, stupid. I made it quite clear. I alluded that this is a precursor to a new law or laws coming down the pipeline soon.

And yes, it is a LOCAL ISSUE to be dealt with on the LOCAL LEVEL. NOT a federal issue.

It's hardly a "local" issue when 13 millions kids have admitted to being bullied, and probably more who haven't and won't come forward. If you don't think this is a serious epidemic, I feel sorry for your ignorance. Even if it were a "local" issue, I seriously doubt the solution is to walk around town with 2X4's for protection.
It is a LOCAL issue to be dealth with LOCALLY on a case by case basis by LOCAL school officials. NOT the federal government!

I never said it's not a problem, or that it's not a "epidemic." It's NOT A FEDERAL ISSUE!

I guess you've already forgotten that Republicans now hold the purse strings.
I did not say such a law would pass. Between you and "Truthmatters" it's a close call on which is more stupid. Really.

 I see why Truthmatters is appropriate. When she has to deal with spin like yours, I should add some truthiness identification to myself. You get caught in your absurd predictions, then attempt to rewrite what you've said. Hilarious.
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Who's spinning? :lmao:

All you've done here is LIE about everything I've said! You're just a clueless buffoon.

It's threads like these that make me embarrassed to be a conservative.

I used to get just as angry when I saw ignorant (IGNORANT!!!) criticism every time there was a crisis in the Bush administration and the left jumped all over the president for not being right there, in the moment, on top of the situation personally. It's fucking stupid to think the POTUS can be everywhere all at once, and ignore regularly scheduled agendas just to make it "look good" to an ignorant public.

I also had great admiration for Laura Bush who had to put up with such foolish criticisms, as I do Michelle Obama. (I wonder if Michelle wore a girdle or chose a $12 handbag that would make a difference? Ya think?)

My disdain for Bush was first spending the budget surplus by giving tax breaks that weren't necessary, rush to judgment by invading Iraq as being a co-conspirator in the 911 attacks, and his lack of control over the government entities that should have been aware of the pending housing crisis. All ISSUES; not disparagement over his persona or that of his wife.

You started out being fair then lost your cool by repeating political rhetoric like it was honest debate.

The only reason I constantly go off on Obama is because of the BS they subjected Bush to and he personally subjected him to.

All he did was gather together parents and educators to discuss the problem, and in his position of course it creates even more awareness. How many other domestic issues have been discussed by presidents with concerned groups that don't have a constitutionally mandated federal agenda? Bullying IS a national problem; that you continue to use the word federal problem is a convenient way to distort the situation by putting a label on it as being just another "gubmit" program, when that's not the intent at all.

You're a pro at distortion. Too bad that's all you've got going for you.

We shall see. He's statist, he believes ALL problems should be handled by the federal gubmint. Would not be surprising at all to see some Dem congresscritter introduce a bill, "The battling bullying act."

Would it?

And mindless idiot tool that you are, you would support it.

If your kid is getting bullied then teach him or her how to fight.

The cure for bullying is as simple as busting said bully in the chops.

]

Yes....up until the time the bully beats the shit out of you

Often times having the guts to fight back regardless of the outcome is enough.

Often times the kid just ends up in the hospital

I never saw a kid put in the hospital because of a schoolyard fight. And i had my share as a kid.

Let's stop pussifying everyone and teach them how to defend themselves.

Bullys tend to pick on you for a reason. One of those is they know they can beat the shit out of you if they want to. A common myth is that any kid can be trained to beat up a bully. In real life....the bully wins nine out of ten

One can lose a fight and still gain respect. A truth forgotten in our attempt to turn everyone into crybabies.

Of course these MEN and their simple macho solutions aren't considering the devastating bullying done by social media. Sorry, but 2X4's don't work on Facebook.

Good reason to keep kids off of it then no?

I actually know kids who don't have facebook pages (You can gasp in horror now)

And believe it or not they are happy and well adjusted.

This covers several issues that are in the news today.

Sorry for the cut and paste.

There's nothing wrong with bullying if you have an Obamawaiver
Phil Boehmke

With union thugs busy bullying reform minded lawmakers in Madison, Indianapolis, Columbus and other flashpoints in the battle for fiscal sanity, Barry and Michelle launched a new initiative against bullying in our nation’s public schools.

Having been bullied because of his big ears, funny name and red diaper, the future former president who would be king is sensitive to the long term effects of bullying on impressionable children. Here’s an idea; maybe each school should have an anti-bullying program administrator to oversee an anti-bullying program staff, how’s that for (public sector union) job creation?

Mr. Obama, I too was bullied in the public schools that I attended, although in my case the bullying was mostly administered by incompetent teachers and principals due to my well- proportioned ears and resistance to socialist indoctrination.

With bus-loads of bullies having been organized by OFA, the AFL-CIO, SEIU and other more stealthy subversive groups to intimidate and threaten the free practice of representative government, one would get the idea that some forms of bullying are being encouraged by the Obama regime. Of course other than publicly taking sides with the public sector unions against the taxpayers, Mr. Obama has remained on the sidelines quietly cheering on his cadre of bullies and issuing Obamawaivers for their behavior.

In spite of vicious death threats, which could well be perceived as contrary to the Obama doctrine on civil political discourse, the bully in chief has issued no statement on the matter. In fairness, the regime has been busy looking for ways to turn the Japan earthquake and tsunami into a favorable bounce in Mr. Obama’s poll numbers.

In the twisted realm of Obamaland, where the planets orbit “The One,” contradictions between imperial edicts and imperial conduct are to be expected and should be anticipated. Obama allies and their shock troops are all eligible to receive the coveted Obamawaivers, which guarantee their right to do anything they please as long they act in accordance with the will of the regime. On the flip-side, enemies of the regime will have to pay for their insolence in defying the leader.

Even as terrorists and illegal immigrants enjoy resort-style accommodations on the tax-payers dime and are given full protection against the sort of bullying that is being promoted against reform-minded legislators in America’s heartland, one lone soldier is being bullied in a military prison. Enter the case of Pfc. Bradley Manning, WikiLeaks informant poster boy.

According to the New York Times, top State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley has spoken out about the “ridiculous, counterproductive and stupid” treatment that Manning is being subjected to while in detention. Mr. Obama responded to the allegations of bullying:

“With respect to Private Manning, I have actually asked the Pentagon whether or not the procedures that have been taken in terms of his confinement are appropriate and are meeting our basic standards,” Mr. Obama said at a news conference. “They assure me that they are.”

Basic standards for terrorists and illegal immigrants held in detention include, TV, music, full library privileges, climate controlled accommodations, dance lessons, top notch cuisine to name a few of the perks provided at tax-payer expense. However for an enemy of the regime like Manning, whose leaking of documents has been a major embarrassment to the Obama Administration there are different standards.

Starting on March 2, Private Manning was forced by guards at the Marine Corps brig at Quantico, Va., to sleep without clothing at night, though he had a blanket and in recent days has been given a “tear-proof smock” to wear at night, according to a Defense Department spokesman, Col. David Lapan.

Is Private Manning being bullied? His ears seem to be of average size and he doesn’t have a funny name, so I’m not sure. There are questions about his sexual orientation, so maybe he is being bullied, but since he embarrassed the Obama regime an Obamawaiver appears to have been issued. Case closed.

Of course the leaking of secret government documents (like any other tact of treason or terrorism) should be prosecuted with full vigor regardless of the sitting administration and the conditions in detention should provide for only the most basic needs of the prisoner as provided by law.
