The phony scandal didn't work the first few times they tried it out. When MSNBC brought it up last night I was amazed they didn't debunk it right then. By law no uranium mined by the Russian owned US subsidiary can be exported without a license from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. They sell all the ore they process right here in the USA.

But then again how many of the phony scandals and false claims against President Obama and his administration ever panned out or resulted in criminal charges against anyone?

My idea of "a single news agency covering it" is not what I observed as a result of reading/perusing the following news stories:

• Bill Clinton sought State’s permission to meet with Russian nuclear official during Obama uranium decision
• FBI uncovered Russian bribery plot before Obama administration approved controversial nuclear deal with Moscow
  • The Russians were compromising American contractors in the nuclear industry with kickbacks and extortion threats, all of which raised legitimate national security concerns. Once you see it in those terms, their reporting is not at all shocking. They only tackle issues that HELP DEMOCRATS.

Thats how you get outrage over a phonecall to a goldstar wife and crickets over a corrupt Clinton uranium deal with Russia.

There is also the "COVERING" it so they can say they COVERED it in a literal sense.

As well it should. Trump is the current POTUS and the Clintons' and Obama's time in government service has, at least for the present, has ended. The Uranium One deal and its attendant circumstances are five or more years old. Compound that with:

1. the fact that any criminality in connection with it and on the part of Obama Administration officials being all but unprovable seeing as, at this point, proving such relies on what...pure speculation about the intentions of the parties involved,
   
2. the fact that the only criminal wrongdoing the FBI uncovered was that of a non-government worker, and
3. the fact that nine government departments/agencies contributed to the decision to approve the deal and the contractor who was found to have behaved criminally apparently hadn't controlling interest, influence or interest with the Secretaries and Administrators of those governmental organizations. Hillary Clinton also had no influence over eight of those organizations leaders.

This whole thing, at least right now, is tantamount to saying someone has a cake because they have a couple or so ingredients needed to make a cake. The truth is that eggs, flour, sugar, butter, water, a pan and heat are what's needed to make a cake, but having those things does not mean one will from them make a cake, or even bother try doing so.
