No one is going to take your guns

Criminals need to understand when you break into someones home you should expect to be shot on the spot while within the home.

32,000 gun deaths a year.

Only 200 of those were "justifiable homicides", more likely someone defending himself in a domestic argument.

The chance of a criminal being shot by a homeowner are up there with winning a lottery ticket.

That's because they're aware there could be a gun in the house. But for the slow learners, S&W awaits to greet them in the foyer

Not true again Joe.

LEO alone in 2011 smoked 395 felons.

These numbers also do not tell us how many thugs were injured and not killed by the gun owner.

Also, not all states list a self defense killing as justifiable homicide. Some list them simply as homicides

Another interesting factoid as America serves its sentence under Obama, gun sales have soared, and violent crime has been reduced.

You realize it's a violation of forum rules to edit a post to change it's meaning, right?

FACT- ONLY 200 justified homicides a year according to the FBI.

Most of those are not home-owners shooting intruders but usually a battered wife plugging her wife-beater husband.

Guns do not make you safer. A gun in the home is more likely to kill a household member than a bad guy.

That's LAW ENFORCEMENT.

Again. I want Law Enforcement to have guns.

I don't want YOU to have a gun.

Same source, figures on justifiable homicides by civilians.

Civilians only killed 201 people in actions that were considered justified.

Guns do make us safer. The low justifiable homicide rates are just what we want. Ideally, we want the number to be zero.

What the stats do not tell us is how many thugs were only injured, or otherwise the crime was interrupted. Gun wins again.

again, no guns, no injuries or deaths.

The reality is, criminals are smarter than you give them credit for.

Most home intrusions happen when no one is home.

Breaking into a home that is vacant as opposed to occupied makes the criminal smart?

Um... OK

The problem is that it's impossible to get rid of guns. They're always going to be there.

The only thing you can control is whether or not law-abiding citizens are able to obtain firearms, and they're not really the threat.
