The Internet is a big factor in informing the public about the battle to defund the ACA. Television is the way to make defunding happen. Blanketing TV with concise, clearly-stated, 30 second spots is the best way to neutralize all of the face time Democrats and their media mouthpieces are getting to blame conservatives for a government shutdown. The lot of them never miss an opportunity to say “Defunding is a losing strategy.”

Another chorus that gets a lot of face time are those talking heads who are more interested in saving the Republican party than they are in doing what is best for the country. They all sing the same time tune. Republicans will get blamed for shutting down the government. Karl Rove, the biggest phoney of them all, and Charles Krauthammer are the choirmasters.

As a matter of fact, the ACA would never have passed the Senate had Rove not abandoned a slew of Republican candidates in the 2010 elections. To this day, nobody asks Rove why he did not use the ACA to defeat Senate Democrats in 2012. No matter what he is saying today about defunding being a losing battle he does not want the ACA defunded or repealed. Name all of the Republican party double-crosses and Karl Rove is the one Tea Partiers should dump with the ACA.

Even if establishment Republicans lose the House I can only quote the author of Hillarycare I “What difference, at this point, does it make?” If the country is forever stuck with Hillarycare II anyway who gives a rat’s ass which party controls both houses of Congress?

NOTE: It used to be that the Socialism/Communism advanced from one Democrat president to the next. It even advanced with a Republican in the White House. Barack Taqiyya proved the pendulum is swinging the other way. Look at the contempt many Americans had for Taqiyya the Liar and his policies from day one of his second term. That contempt will only increase should Biden or Clinton become president because there is not a whit of difference among the three, yet Republicans who fear defunding the ACA never program the contempt factor into their longterm thinking. Clinton, or Biden, becoming president will finally turn this country against Socialism/Communism once and for all.

Talking about the horrors of Hillarycare II does not go far enough. Most Americans already know the economic and cultural dangers to the country if the ACA is not defunded. So nailing Democrat liars must be added to the menu.
I would also hammer home the millions of tax dollar jobs the ACA will generate. Pelosi begins with 4 million while lying about creating “entrepreneurial jobs” in the private sector:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJKGWEkkE7E&feature=player _detailpage"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJKGWEkkE7E&feature=player _detailpage[/ame]

I do not doubt that ‘entrepreneurs’ will figure out a way to board the gravy train, but the ACA will not create one private sector job because the entire bill is funded with tax dollars.

Admittedly, elected officials cannot call Barack Taqiyya & Company liars even when leading Democrats are obviously lying —— Tea Parties, and concerned private sector groups, can call a liar a liar. Tea Partiers, more than any other group, are the targets of Democrat liars. Comparing conservatives to Muslim terrorists demonstrates the sick people Barack Taqiyya & Company cater to:

One in four likely voters who support President Obama believe the tea party is the biggest terror threat to the United States, according to a new Rasmussen Reports poll.

The survey, conducted over the past weekend. polled 1,000 likely voters. It has a margin of error of 3 percentage points, with a 95 percent level of confidence.

It asks a number of questions about America’s security on topics including nuclear weapons, an anti-missile defense shield – and just exactly who is the nation’s top terror threat.

Twenty-six percent of Obama’s supporters say that would be the tea party – the grass-roots political effort to limit the size of government, get bureaucrats out of the average family’s life and crack down on corruption and graft.

“Among those who Strongly Approve of the president more fear the tea party than radical Muslims,” the survey report said.

Across the nation, about half of the likely voters believe radical Muslims are the bigger terrorist threat.

Tea party called ?top terror threat? in U.S.

In addition to the commercials a ‘fair & balanced’ media would run public service announcements telling the truth about defunding the ACA even if the government is shut down. They can start with these facts/details:

If President Barack Obama “shuts down” the government by vetoing a continuing resolution (CR) that funds all government operations with the exception of Obamacare, or the Senate fails to pass such a CR, crucial services will continue without interruption. That includes all services essential for national security and public safety—such as the military and law enforcement—as well as mandatory government payments such as Social Security and veterans’ benefits.

The key fact, as the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) itself has said, is that when there is a short-term lapse in appropriations, “the federal Government will not be truly ‘shut down’…because Congress has itself provided that some activities of Government should continue.” In fact, any claims that not passing a CR will result in a “shutting down” of the government “is an entirely inaccurate description” according to the DOJ.[1]

Such a lapse in funding would be neither catastrophic nor unprecedented, but it would pare down government services to those most essential for “the safety of human life or the protection of property.” That would not include the hundreds of billions of dollars in the federal budget that are constantly squandered and wasted on frivolous, unnecessary, and unneeded programs.

What happens during a government “shutdown”?

What happens during a government ?shutdown??

Finally, trying but failing to defund the ACA will identify members of Congress who represent the parasite class and no one else. None of them can hide behind bipartisan bullcrap for a piece of legislation not one Republican voted for. Its ludicrous to now say that keeping the ACA is bipartisan the way both parties do when they want to pass a bad piece of legislation.

you do not want the ACA funded.

To Moonglow: Me and a majority of Americans. Here’s a bit more if you doubt me:

The Obama/Democrat leaderships multiple failures and corruptions both foreign and domestic will have Americans suffering for some to come, it's unavoidable at this point.

Obamacare will be funded, the Republican establishment will again screw over America's future with political cowardliness.

To Lumpy 1: Absolutely, and they are not finished yet as Syria and the recent scandals show. Barack Taqiyya still has three years left to betray the country to the UN and to his pal Putin.

Obamacare will be funded, the Republican establishment will again screw over America's future with political cowardliness.

To Lumpy 1: No doubt about it. Unfortunately, the consequences of funding the ACA are so destructive I’m placing my last vestige of hope on conservatives in Congress willing to fight. (Notice that the consequences are already well-known as opposed to unintended consequences.)

The internet is wonderful for exposing the extreme liberals on the left as well as libertarians and the far right reactionary conservatives.

The result is We the People are creating a new middle mainstream, thank heavens.

There’s very little time left for the public to irrevocably assign the blame for a government shutdown. That means there is very little time for the media to convince voters that conservatives deserve the blame. Running out of time is the reason the media will pour it on in the days ahead. Sarah Palin is onto their game:

We’re now, once again, subjected to the “anonymous sources” backstabbing game. The Capitol Hill cowards are rushing to anonymously denounce Senator Cruz to any reporter with a pad and pen.

Welcome to our world, Ted. The same people have been denouncing conservatives like me for years (right after they ask for help fundraising for themselves or endorsing the latest candidate they’ve suckered into paying their exorbitant consulting fees). We can compare shiv marks next time we meet, my friend.

I’m not at all convinced that ‘anonymous’ is a live person. My instincts tell me that Sarah’s Capital Hill cowards are not the prime movers even though a few openly attacked Cruz personally. My reasoning: Media libs would attack Senator Cruz even without encouragement from Capital Hill cowards. Also notice that bona fide media libs are not the only ones attacking Ted Cruz. Clever Republicans attack Cruz by saying his strategy will fail and Republicans will be blamed. Ultimately, every attack is aimed at Tea Partiers and conservatism more than it is aimed at Ted Cruz.

Put a possible government shutdown in perspective this way. Those who vote for the Democrats will blame everybody except Harry Reid. In short: Media pundits know that Democrats vote for the Democrat —— Republicans vote for the Republican. The media is playing to the voters in the middle. So if the number of Americans who want the ACA defunded & repealed means anything the folks in the middle are in favor of defunding. The media cannot change that; so there is no reason to believe that scare tactics designed to influence next years elections will work this time around. Senate Democrats up for reelection next year are the ones who should be worried about losing their jobs.

Incidentally, Democrats dearly love horror stories in addition to reelection scare tactics. Democrats told so many medical horror stories trying to pass the law I was convinced Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff were top Democrat party strategists. As it turned out the ACA is a monster sucking the blood out of every private sector American.

This is where it’s at today:

Senator Harry Reid

The public laying the blame on Democrats where it belongs is a good sign. Nevertheless, members of Congress have to be convinced NOT to fear media consequences if they succeed in defunding Hillarycare II. Talking heads are saying the Republicans will be blamed. That was probably true a few months ago. It’s not true today.

Democrats lied about everything before they imposed socialized medicine on the country. Democrats have been lying about the ACA ever since it became the law. Democrats are now defending a law the majority of Americans want repealed now that they know what’s in it:

More and more Americans are waking up to the nightmare of Obamacare as its rollout continues. Hardworking families are losing their employer-provided health care coverage. Businesses are cutting back their employees’ hours to skirt Obamacare’s mandates. Americans barely scrapping by are discovering that Obamacare has made health care completely unaffordable. Those who aren’t part of a protected special interest group have been left in the cold.

EXCLUSIVE: Palin -- Bombs Away on Obamacare; Cruz Is over the Target

Blaming conservative Republicans for defunding the ACA makes no sense. According to the media, regardless of the overwhelming evidence against Democrats, it is conservative Republicans —— NOT ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS —— who will be blamed for a government shutdown.

Finally, the debate about who gets the blame for a government shutdown should be shared with a debate about who gets the blame for the ACA in the first place. Reminding the public who did it to the country is important because most of the Democrats who passed that terrible law are still in Congress. Every Representative, and a number of Senators, are up for reelection next year.

I. M. Anonymous must be the smartest guy in the world because everybody in the media gets their information from him.

Wallace’s remark caught the attention of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, another Fox News contributor, who called on Wallace to reveal the anonymous Republicans’ names.

Rove’s Republicans are angry at Ted Cruz and Mike Lee to be sure, but not for the reasons Rove cites. The good ‘ol boys in both parties expect their senators to run every idea pass them—— not so they can build a consensus, but so they can silence senators who actually try to represent private sector Americans. More so when the issue is a big one like defunding Hillarycare II.

Let’s be realistic here. There is not a chance Republican leadership would have given Cruz and Lee the green light to go ahead. Reason: There’s too much money going to Wall Street via the insurance industry to derail the ACA now. The ACA is a train wreck alright, and the train is loaded with gold.

I wonder, does this analysis come from the same sources that convinced you and your party that Romney was going to win the election going away?

To idb: I did not vote for Romney. I’m not a Republican, nor would I vote for any Republican just to beat the Democrat. I would only vote for a Republican when I’m convinced he or she is not a RINO in the embryo stage. Nevertheless, Romney might have been declared the winner had all of the evidence pointing to massive election fraud been investigated. Details are documented in the linked article:

"Romney might have been declared the winner had all of the evidence pointing to massive election fraud been investigated" is the argument from the wing nut far right.

There was no massive election fraud, period. Judges correctly intervened to prevent voter suppression by both sides.

The far right wing media is not designed to reach the demographic multipliers of change; thus, the rw media will fail.
