It's hidden. And it's regressive. It's far more destructive than the income tax.What's worse is that the GOP just adopted chained CPI into their tax bill. Which means that by adopting chained CPI into it, they can now lie about and misrepresent that inflation tax by understating inflation’s effects on our standard of living. It does this by assuming inflation has not reduced Americans' standard of living. It's the best tax ever for politicians because they don't actually have to vote on it. It's a hidden tax which is just a consequence of their fuckery.
