BREAKING: Muslim Navy Engineer Busted Red-Handed in Major Act of Treason

A foreign-born man was just caught in a blatant act of treason.
To make the incident even more alarming, the crime involves one of America’s most powerful nuclear vessels.
Mostafa Ahmed Awwad is from Saudi Arabia.
However, he was able to gain U.S. citizenship after he married an American woman in Egypt.
According to the Navy Times, Awwad was arrested on Friday during an undercover FBI operation.
His alleged crime is severe.
Awwad has been accused of attempting to sell technical details of a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier to the Egyptian government.
Mostafa Awwad was able to access those technical plans through his job as a civilian engineer working on the USS Gerald R. Ford.
That ship is currently under construction and is slated to be one of the lead “supercarriers” using new technology in the U.S. Navy’s modern fleet.
The Saudi man reportedly held a “secret” level clearance due to his work with the Navy.
He was caught when he attempted to sell information about the nuclear carrier to a representative of Egypt.
There was one problem. His contact was actually an undercover FBI agent posing as a Middle Eastern buyer.
“During the meeting Awwad claimed it was his intention to utilize his position of trust with the US Navy to obtain military technology for use by the Egyptian government,” stated a Department of Justice document.
The DOJ reported that this information included “the designs of the USS Gerald Ford nuclear aircraft carrier. Awwad agreed to conduct clandestine communications with the undercover FBI agent by email and unattributable telephones and to conduct ‘dead drops’ in a concealed location in the park.”
Awwad’s treachery apparently went even deeper.
According to the DOJ, Awwad “and the undercover FBI agent met at a hotel where Awwad described a detailed plan to circumvent US Navy computer security by installing software on his restricted computer system that would enable him to copy documents without causing a security alert.”
The Middle Eastern man requested a false passport so that he could escape to Egypt without alerting American officials. He also made at least one “dead drop” exchange, where he provided classified plans to the undercover FBI agent in exchange for cash.
It isn’t yet known exactly how enemies could exploit those plans, but it goes without saying that an American nuclear warship is a prime target for both terrorists and rogue countries.
Several media outlets have reported that Mostafa Awwad is a Muslim.
His religion has not been clearly confirmed; however, Islam is the religion of nearly 100% of Saudi Arabia’s residents, and 90% of the Egyptian people. This could very likely be connected to his motivation for betraying the United States.
These actions would amount to nothing less than treason. The United States gave this man citizenship and incredible opportunities — only to have that trust betrayed and American lives put at grave risk.
