Wow, you are impressed by so little. The US set a new record for lowest Labor Participation rate....AGAIN!

"The more concerning signs are hidden beneath the surface. Some people have been sounding the alarm about labor-participation rates for years now—Republicans tried, mostly unsuccessfully, to make them an issue in the 2012 election. But as several analysts have pointed out, the June rate of 62.6 percent is the lowest since October of 1977. The decline is part of a long-term trend, as this graph shows:"

You never have anything intelligent to say, do you? In reality, minimum wage jobs are the lowest they've been since Bush's Great Recession and have been decreasing every year since. Making up just 3.9% of employed folks as of 2014.

That chart proves we are not at a "new record for lowest Labor Participation rate." What the fuck is wrong with you?

4 million boomers retiring each year does wonders for your Labor Force Participation Rate. You need to add 333,000 jobs a month just to break even

Just more economic good news that must be turned into economic bad news but it can be, and must be done.

Participation is way down among the working age population which is why Yellin is so concerned about this very liberal welfare over work trend.

Make liberals illegal as our founders intended to solve the problem

it seems to me U6 unemployment at 10.5% tells the real story of Obamanomics. U3 looks good only because everyone found jobs flipping burgers!!

So, since the U-6 has dropped 6.6 points, and th U-3 has only dropped 4.7 points (10.5-17.1=-6.6 vs 5.3-10=-4.7) then things are improving by more than the official position?
