Which absolutes?

By whom?

Not in your family.

Hmmm. Maybe.

No. Not in my book.

You have avoided the questions RWA.

1. The Moral Absolutes you refer to in order to disprove moral relativism

2. If you have to ask "By whom" then thou shalt not kill children is not a moral absolute. To be an absolute you need only answer yes or no.

3. you avoided this question by insulting my family, feel proud.

4. If you can only say maybe then you admit to not knowing all of the moral absolutes

5. Good, my oppinion of you (which I know you care very little about if at all) has gone up.

Reread this clarification.

There are standards of conduct which are more conducive to a peaceful, cooperative, well functioning, society. These principles are strikingly similar across religions and throughout history. The most important ones: Personal responsibility for your life and actions, hard work, not stealing, no entitlement attitude. These are the things we're talking about. Libs seek to subvert these undeniable truths to win votes from people who don't want to accept that maybe their own behavior is not optimal. Do you tell people lies (you are perfect), or do you tell them the hard truths(maybe for yourself and others you should be more responsible and change your ways)? Conservatives tell the hard truths. Libs tell people what they want to hear.

Tell me which part you disagee with. What bothers me are people who want to say someone else's moral system is incorrect simply by citing moral relativism, but without arguing why they feel a particular piece is wrong. It's just a way of shutting down debate. It's usually a way lefties hide their socialist agenda (state sponsored stealing, and oppression.)

1) There is no absolute truth
2) Statement 1 is an Absolute truth
3)Law of contradiction says that statement 1 cannot be true.

How about this?

1) there may or may not be absolute truth, if there is then I do not know what it is.

or this

1) there is only one independant absolute truth and an infinite # of others that affirm it and those that affirm it.

2) # 1 is an is an independant absolute truth and this one affirms it

3) # 2 is an absolute truth because it affirms #1 and so #3 affirms #2 for affirming #1

4) # 3 is an absolute truth because it afirms #2 which affirms #1 ...

Please allow me to give responses to your questions deaddude.

A few quick questions RWA,

1. are humans the only creatures who are subject to these absolutes?

Humans are not subject to any absolutes as there are usually alternative paths.

2. Is the act of killing children considered absolutely moraly wrong?

The killing of any life is morally wrong but preborn life is not human life until somebody absolutely proves the contrary.

3. is the act of kinslaying absolutely moraly wrong?

The act of slaying one's relatives or any innocent humans is morally wrong.

4. Is God sending people to an eternity of pain and suffering absolutely moraly wrong?

Only if scaring people into believing such nonsense keeps them from straying from the dogma of any church. What the Creator thinks or does is not in the realm of human understanding.

5. Is the practice of any religion other than christainity absolutely moraly wrong?

Absolutely NOT....

Isn't preborn life, life? Isn't preborn human life, human life? This is just an idiotic statement aj. Your tendency to deny life where it obviously exists still makes me nauseous.

Some of the other answers were just ok.

You know aj. Your illogical denial of fetal life only gives fodder to all the wild Jewish eugenic plot conspiracy theories.

Wow, RWA that was a realy witty insult, were you up at 3:00 AM coming up with that, feel proud.

I wanted to make sure your limited intellect could comprehend it. I decided to keep it simple.

You certainly are vomit.

Trees and mice have 'life' but not 'human life.' You still fail to give any proof of 'human life' in the unborn fetus.

Even sperm and ova are considered human life.

Life doesn't begin at birth. Life began a long time ago and new humans don't emerge from dead tissue.

Zhukov why stop with sperms and eggs having life. What about intergalactic 'star dust' that everything including mankind and eventually goes to forming human life? Can you murder a photon from the sun?

Actually humans arise from the very same molecules that existed in Abraham Lincoln, the old oak tree and the planet Uranus.

heart beat, brain waves, kicking around. Don't doctors know when a lady is set to have a stillborn birth? How do they determine that? You're a retard.

Take your shitminded thoughts and leave.
