To me, if the man's wrong doings are in his past only, then they shouldn't be held against him. People who change for the better in my opinion should never be judged on their past. I will say one thing though on the other hand. If that woman has kids and the man can't be around them anymore because of his past, then to me, those kids should be who the woman chooses because to me when you become a parent, the kids should be the top priority in the parent's life.

So this woman and her husband signed a five page covenent in order to become missionaries in this Megachurch. The article makes it a bit clearer. Of course she can leave the church. The church itself is moving forward to release her from the contract she signed. She signed a contract under which she would be paid and trained to be a missionary. That's her complaint. No more support. She is essentially being fired.

The contract is not legally binding. She is as free to leave the church as they are to fire her. Get another job, find another church.

A megachurch is a protestant church that has at least 2 thousand people in attendance each week.

So while the right wing crazy people claim it's not a megachurch, they're either lying or don't know what the word means.

Megachurches are usually a sham, and in most cases a scam to cheat people out of their money, buying 'holy rings' and whatever crap their 'pastor' demands they buy to be 'closer to god'.

There is a good reason that they aren't accepted or affiliated with mainstream churches, [and] that is that they distort Christian doctrine, preach hate, or teach that a path to heaven can be won by buying merchandise.
