Meet the Chicago woman who rented hotel rooms for homeless people during polar vortex

You are one of the most horrible people I have ever encountered. You hate everything and everyone. And you know what? You're not only deformed on the outside, you're deformed on the inside too. You lack any kind of humanity or compassion and wallow in it.

Oh, and have you quit your job yet and put your wife and her family out on the street?
Ever hear of Karma? She is coming for you, you can bet on it.

I’ll take “horrible” as a compliment, coming from you. You’re right that I hate pretty much everyone, and I have good reason to. I don’t wallow in my lack of humanity or compassion, I bask in it and celebrate it.

I will be moving on to a couple new, unique employment opportunities in the coming months. I’m documenting my processes for my current employer then moving on. My wife’s family has been offered an official lease for the other side of the house, at market rate (no more family discounts) and with strict terms and regulations. My guess is they’ll be gone by the end of the summer, and my wife may go with them.

Do tell, what is your good reason to hate everyone? So you made your in laws pay to live there? That's something you never mentioned when you were bragging about keeping up her and her whole family. What terms and regulations do you demand?

Do you still beat her when she doesn't "obey" you?

And once again, Karma is a bitch and she's coming for you.

When will the lib scum try to prosecute her?
This was a kind act by a kind person and only someone as disgusting as yourself would try to make it otherwise.
No, I just watch what filthy democrats do to people who try to help others. I haven't made it into anything. But if you be honest (fat chance) hardly a week goes by without some scum sucking dem trying to prosecute someone for helping others.
Well as you probably know by now, I'm a liberal Democrat and if you check out the first comment here, it's by me and I said she was an angel. Oh, and it's not the Democrats who want to cut food stamps, social security, medicaid and medicare, it's Republicans.
And please give links or verifiable examples to back up what you claim.
One last thing, I donate many items to a church who then distributes them to the homeless. I also knit scarves for them because I was told they like those because they know they are personal. I have also bought shoes, good ones and not those from the Goodwill, and donated them too. I am blessed that I have money and try to help out those less fortunate in any way I can. Many times, I'm even a sucker and give to those standing on the street corners with their signs. I also volunteer with an animal rescue group.
I am not bragging about any of this, just pointing out your false statement. The fact is, many on both sides are kind, caring people who go out of their way to help the less fortunate and this shouldn't be about anything other than a kind person helped those in need. If you can't see that, then I feel sorry for you.
There is nothing false in my statement. You can see it on the "news" quite often. I'm sorry you are so stupid that you are in denial about your own kind. I don't normally try to "prove" anything to you idiots because it just makes you spew more garbage.

In Tampa, Food Not Bombs activists arrested for feeding the homeless—again

Is giving food to the homeless illegal in your city too?

Police continue reminding people to not feed homeless, yet do-gooders persist

Now do what you do, spin and twist the facts.

These links were done by the police and if you read it, it was because they were afraid of food contamination. One said they needed to get a permit. Well, in most places, services like that do need permits to assure that what they're giving out is safe for consumption. Here, we have food banks who have to have permits and I never read where it was a big deal. We also have food kitchens where the homeless can go to and get a hot meal as often as 3 times a day. And, they're all over the city and not in just one place. If not regulated, who is to say that some sadist wouldn't give a poor soul a sandwich they know is going to make them sick.
Please, I don't want to fight with you, but can't we set this your side/ my side aside in this thread and just agree that this lady did a good deed for these people? Does everything have to be blown up?
She enabled these people to fail to care for themselves. That's not a good deed. She's like the people who helped my family when we were homeless. She fills herself with self righteous do-goodism at the expense of someone else's independence.

One of these individuals may have been so moved by the cold and deprivation that they would vow never to go through that again. Maybe that person would do something and better themselves. They were robbed of that lesson and this woman did it.

No it is not a good deed.

This is amazing. I know a bunch of people who don't have the wherewithal to organize a trip to an ice cream parlor.

Local businesswoman Candice Payne knew the frigid temperatures were deadly, so she took action.

Candice Payne, a Chicago real estate broker, is being hailed a hero after helping more than 70 homeless people get out of the blistering cold in Chicago's South Side and into a nearby hotel.

After thinking about the homeless population outside while the city experiences record sub-zero temperatures, she picked up the tab for the rooms, getting help from her friends who shuttled them, Payne said.

"No one wanted them, but one hotel, the Amber Inn, was nice enough to allow me to buy the rooms," Payne today TODAY. With the help of strangers who saw her post on social media, she was able to rent almost 60 rooms for a total of five nights.

I understand that Chicago asked its churches to open up for the homeless during this....most didn't.
Chicago also asked mosques and temples to help...none did.

USMB also asked for a link. None showed up.
USMB answers to me and I'm right here.

Indeed yar. Still emptyhanded.

You're thinking of John Lennon.

Do tell, what is your good reason to hate everyone?...

...And once again, Karma is a bitch and she's coming for you.

Hatred is a matter of constantly reminding yourself that nobody else gives a fuck about you and thst if you don’t put you and yours first at every moment, somebody else will, to your detriment.

I am more than ready to deal with whatever Karma.m has to dish out.

Do a really good deed. Build kitty shelters for the homeless feral cats. They are your first line of defense against disease. Homeless people are a burden.

This was an emergency situation, I don't understand why they couldn't make a exception on a temporary basis.
Fumigating for lice and fleas is too expensive. That is, IF the homeless didn't shit in the pews or steal the crosses.

Liberal democrat doesnt come close to making sense. No true liberal could stand the big govt, freedom hating Democrats.

They both exist to test you, though I too have more compassion for a feral cat or dog than most humans.
