The only communists I have experience with is a religious sect who model their lifestyle on the "community of goods" articulated in the Book of Acts. And those people are absolute pacifists who refuse to take up arms or even wear a uniform, for any country. And they have exiled themselves from multiple nations when those nations tried to force them into battle (including this one, where some were tortured and killed at Leavenworth, whereupon they all up and moved to Canada).
