Torture doesn't work. For one thing, once someone is taken, the enemies plans change. Think about why.
Torture and what the US has done at Abu Graib and Gitmo have become "recruiting" tools for terrorists.

After what Republicans have done to the economy. After their incompetence after Katrina. After they pretty much let Bin Laden go.
