Mayor of London Warns George W Bush-War Criminal: Bring Book Tour to Britain and Never See TX Again | Citizens for Legitimate Government

Mayor of London Warns George W Bush-War Criminal: Bring Book Tour to Britain and Never See Texas Again --George W. Bush can’t fight for freedom and authorise torture By Boris Johnson 15 Nov 2010 It is not yet clear whether George W Bush is planning to cross the Atlantic to flog us his memoirs, but if I were his PR people I would urge caution. As book tours go, this one would be an absolute corker. It is not just that every European capital would be brought to a standstill, as book-signings turned into anti-war riots. The real trouble -- from the Bush point of view -- is that he might never see Texas again. One moment he might be holding forth to a great perspiring tent at Hay-on-Wye. The next moment, click, some embarrassed member of the Welsh constabulary could walk on stage, place some handcuffs on the former leader of the Free World, and take him away to be charged. Of course, we are told this scenario is unlikely... But that is what torture-authorising Augusto Pinochet thought. And unlike Pinochet, Mr Bush is making no bones about what he has done.

Oh goody.

Is he going to arrest Blair too?

Freakin England is just as culpable.

Yeah, wouldn't it be great if the people of the world had a back bone and would clean up the trash. In this instance of freedom I believe only force would be a possible solution.

"Convervative" in the UK merely means a less-of-the-same socialist.

You're kidding.

Man..try going to an English pub in the English countryside..and saying that.

Should be fun.:eusa_whistle:

No, I'm not kidding. Not when it comes to government. You don't get any real choices no matter who the party behind the candidate is. Just less of the same or more of the same.

The systems they have in place there are weeds they will never get rid of.

England has a mixed economic system..very much like our own. But in terms of politicians they have some really really conservative fruit loops types. But what everyone seems to like and agree for the most part..are the services provided by their government.

With the exception of the food (which I can't stand), England has one of the highest standards of living in the world.

The standard of living for the types of government you seem to advocate for would be places like Thailand, Peru, Guatemala, Pakistan, Haiti, etc...where rich elites basically run the roost and the government is only there to provide a military/police presence and not much else..pretty much sucks.

But if that's your cup of tea..have at it.

The reason this country has thrived..or any modern industrial nation for that matter..is due to liberal policies.

Bullshit. This country has not thrived because someone in government gave you a seal of approval every time you took a crap.

The standard of living would be pre Great Society US.

Well, they did arrest Pinochet in London for war crimes. Bush has been warned.
I think Georgie is too smart to risk leaving the protection of the American dimwits. But it would suit me just fine if he crossed the pond and the Brits arrested him and turned him over to the Hague.

Bush deserves to be hanged.

There is not a chance on Earth that President Bush could get "arrested" in Great Britain.

Raise your hand if you think ANYbody in a position of authority in the U.S. would tolerate that kind of shit. :cuckoo:

Ol' Boris, the Mayor of London, is just a joke.

Spain would be more likely. They dealt with the Right Wing Dictator Franco up until 1975. That's fairly recent history and not forgotten.

There's not a nut-bar in the government of Spain retarded enough to permit the arrest of a visiting former U.S. President. Clue number 1: As a former President, he gets full protection from the U.S. Secret Service. If ANYBODY in Spain or England were to approach President Bush without their prior approval, the Secret Service would have to act. There are SOME international incidents that just could NEVER be tolerated.

Even a man as generally ignorant as President Obama would have to defend our sovereignty and the honor of the United States of America at that point. Just as we would not arrest a visiting former head of State from any civilized nation (we wouldn't even arrest a pin-dick scumbag like Iran's President Ahmanazinutjob), so too we would not -- could not --ever permit any other nation to "arrest" any of our former leaders for their official decisions made while serving as our elected heads of State.
