New York city is a hot bed of socialism and politicians like de Blasio, Cuomo and Ocasio-Cortez, who appeal to the underclass, of which there is no shortage in a welfare state like New York, have little appeal once you leave a large urban center like New York.

I think it's New York that should sort itself out. It exists in a fool's paradise. I hate to use a cliche and call it a classic leftist tax, spend and buy your base off with the crumbs that fall from on high but that's exactly what it is.
Wait till New York tries to squeeze even more blood from the stone to finance their global warming agenda. Eventually they will run out of other people's money.
