No one has ever claimed that marijuana is the cure for cancer. The claim is that marijuana is a good drug for treating many of the symptoms of chemotherapy, such as pain and loss of appetite.

Medical studies have shown that people who smoke pot have lower rates of deaths from heart, attack or stroke. It reduces the number of seizures for epileptics. And it’s a cure for insomnia that doesn’t interfere with normal sleep cycles or leave you with a drug hangover in the morning.

Last but not least, pot is not addictive. It is habit forming, but it is not physically addicting.

Big Pharma does not support the use of marijuana because they’re not profiting from it. If you can grow your own medication in the back yard, how are they to make money?

You know it’s similar to cigarettes and alcohol. Yes, there are those who can function with these substances, but many other simply can’t, and they develop issues because of them. of course cigarettes are on a different level compared to psychoactive substances like alcohol and marijuana. And again alcohol stays in one’s body a lot less longer compared to weed so that’s interesting.

But perhaps, like multivitamin man, I’m in the vitamins, protein, supplements, working out and eating healthy. People in this thread, talk about developing chronic issues, one way to prevent that, and to fight them is the work out, be healthy exercise, mind over matter.

I’m happy to see that lots of young people in America are listening to what good influencers have to say they’re playing sports, young Black people, young white people they’re playing sports every day. They don’t want anything to do with drugs.

I read this post and it sounds like you’re living in an alternative planet. Pot is being legalized everywhere and taxed. This frees up law enforcement to go after actual crimes instead of going after teenagers smoking a joint.

In jurisdictions where pot has been legalized, there’s been a reduction in crime not an increase.

For consumers, we’re paying 1/3 for legally grown pot than we used to pay to street criminals. We now have quality and potency assurances and a cheaper price. Or we can grow our own.

There is no question that marijuana retards a persons desire to do something with themselves besides sit around and get stoned.
It makes them accept a lower version of themselves and be satisfied with being lazy and unproductive.

FINALLY... after my oldest nephew got off the shit, he has completely changed his life for the better.
He was 35 years old, never married, rented a room in a house with 4 other people - with a string of dead end jobs to make enough money to pay rent and buy pot.
He FINALLY quit a little over a year ago. Got a real job, they paid for some training and got a better job with that company. Has his own apartment, works out, has a nice girl friend that is probably going somewhere.
Like so many young men. Pot retards their maturity and growth as a person. Basically living like a teenager for years on end.

Not saying every single person it does this to - but from what I have seen - waaay too many of them.
