The modern liberals you refer to are typically for expanding the welfare state, more government, etc. Anarchists hold the "all government is violence" view and see the destruction of the state as their primary goal. What? This is stupid. I didn't say they were ALL lazy. Of course, there are going to be MORE lazy people who seek welfare benefits though. Use your common sense for God's sake!!! Sure, occasionally they will if they run into unforeseen situations, but it is not the norm.

Besides, how about talking about the important issues I raised, like the fact that they should be having to look for work or get some kind of training to get off of the system? Interesting. Are you actually going to acknowledge that Obama did NOT fix the economy, as so many, many liberals like to claim? Instead, all of those people who are no longer being counted on the unemployment roles are now collecting welfare because there are hardly NO jobs.

Also, I must disagree entirely with your blog/opinion piece that you posted. I am quite SURE there are plenty of people who have been made "lazy" from the welfare system. When you stay home and do nothing everyday, you become depressed, which in turn makes you not want to go out and takes away your motivation. These are facts. Welfare is NOT a good thing. It is a bad thing. It should be discouraged whenever possible, and people should be encouraged to work for their money because you feel better when you do and when you are productive.

Look around!! There are plenty of lazy fat asses here in America!!!

Of course you are aware there is no way to determine "how many" people are lazy. It goes without saying that a good portion ARE actually lazy.
