Did I misinterpret what was meant by "whats coming?" In the context of liberals arming themselves I just assumed that meant they are preparing for armed conflict with RW factions if necessary. I was just cautioning against underestimating those you consider liberals.
That "liberal" moniker is really a RW construct that ill defines a large section of the American population, many of whom who are neither liberal or conservative all the time on every issue. The Black and Hispanic communities , for instance, are both full of hidden conservatives whose daily lives are centered around Christian values. You might mistake them for liberals but generally they are not. From those ranks are veterans from every modern armed conflict since Korea. They know how to survive and how to fight. And if they join forces with inner city gangs, who are hardened combatants in their own right,
the ability to survive might take on a new dimension. That is, if only conventional warfare is waged.

However, averageJoes like you and me see immigration from a different perspective than the Military Industrial complex does. Cheap labor has nullified any incentive for them to back strict immigration enforcement. And the H-1B programs are even more egregious since they rob American citizens of SKILLED jobs

I can only think of one war that a Republican started, and that would be after we were attacked by muslim terrorists...but going back to the Civil War...started by democrats...the democrats seem to have started or engaged us in all of them....

Well. I was trying to root the conversation in contemporary times. Two separate Iraq incursions and the Afghanistan conflict come to mind as republican war initiatives.

No, you just made that assumption. I would concede that a lot of officers are likely to be RW but the NCOs and troops are probably less so. Many veterans are unionists, minorities and women. You RW nut jobs are obsessed with labeling any in those groups as liberal if they
protest when they feel their rights are being stepped on by RWers. I can't help that your misnomers confuse the issue.

I truly believe that most non Whites and legal immigrants are content to follow the American Dream and engage in the pursuit of happiness. They aren't looking to upset the apple cart. Some of them rise up from time to time when they perceive systemic injustices.
But so do White people. And if Trump acts like a Tyrant and misuses his authority he could galvanize disenchanted Americans across the ethnic and racial spectrum against him. But that would include White people too.

Wrong. I'm a veteran NCO, my two nephews are currently serving, all conservatives, and the votes counted from overseas military always support the conservatives.

I see where you are going with this. You would be ok with more European immigrants but you would curtail non White immigration...RIIGHT? Well, here is the deal. Europeans don't want to become Americans anymore because they don't want to lose their socialized medicine and other socialist safety nets. Third worlders have nothing to lose and much to gain by becoming American citizens
Republicans assume that all third world immigrants will become democrats and vote accordingly.That is, except Cuban immigrants. Cubans typically support the republicans. Did you know that because of that Cuban refugees are given permanent resident status immediately upon reaching American soil.

So this immigration situation is perplexing and elements in both parties have something to gain from the influx . Average guys like you don't see any benefits. To you, the country is just becoming too dark for your tastes and you feel helpless to stop it.Trump is your only hope.
