Government programs are not really socialist. Some may be but not all. Government is assigned to do things we can't possibly organize ourselves such as roads, police, public utilities and so on. It would be very difficult for people to arrange trash pickup without government. Here they place it on your property taxes because when they tried to send a bill to people, they claimed they didn't use the trash system, and just put their trash on other peoples lawns.

I didn't mention one government function. Everything I mentioned could be stopped tomorrow and we would still have a properly functioning government. We'd have some very angry people and possibly violent anarchy but that is just organized theft of the masses.

I have a solution that would be rejected promptly. Keep our elections intact but do not allow the people to vote for president. Leave that responsibility to the US house. Presidential elections are toxic as all get out but people love that toxicity immensely. High-level professional masterminds of psychological warfare make tons of money messing peoples' minds all up to help presidential candidates win. This level of mental abuse imposed upon the public is not as far-reaching on the psyche in lower-level races. Presidential politics breeds mental illness on an absurd level. It's really gross to watch. These demons are destroying the citizenry by practicing their craft. A presidential election can be over yet some people are still rabid about it decades later. The residual effects eventually dissipate but it takes many decades. For example, I have never heard anybody make any viciously over-the-top comments about winning candidates of elections prior to 1976. Most can't even name the losing presidential candidates from those elections. 46 years is a really long time to have a bunch of lunatics all over the country that get extra dozes of crazy every four years.

It has nothing to do with Trump. We are not Nazis like the left that follow orders from our leaders no questions asked.

Technology can be manipulated by nefarious people without anybody knowing a thing, but something tangible like paper ballots makes that much less possible because ballots are right in front of us to see if there are any doubts. Can you see electrons? I know I can't. Can you see what's going on inside those ballot machines and how they count ballots? I can't. You feed that ballot(s) into the machine, and what happens to it from there, nobody really knows.

How would you know when nobody really looked into it? The thing about technology is it can be changed in a micro-second. It can switch back and forth with no detection. You can't do that with paper ballots.

I can take my entire hard drive on this computer, put it all on a jump drive, and have the entire thing on another computer in a matter of seconds.
