Well, WHAT is true?? I can't figure out what the topic is. I can't think what is a draconian sectarian-religion-based law aimed at propagandizing women about their reproduction choices.

Wait, is it where they force women who are in an abortion clinic to watch some smarmy movie about how they shouldn't do it, but should spend their lives raising some loser's get after all? That's the only thing like that I can think of right now.

Cars, drunk drivers, swimming pools, are more dangerous than guns to children.

We aren't.....but no matter what you do, if you do something really stupid, tragedy will happen....and of those kids killed in accidental gun deaths....look at them and you will find the owner of the gun was a criminal who wasn't allowed to have the gun to begin with.....those are the majority.......so how do you stop someone who has already broken the law from endangering his children?

WRong......safety locks are not going to stop a mass shooter......as actual research shows, mass shooters plan their shootings 6 months to two years from the attack.....more than enough time to get their gun wether it is in a safe or has a safety lock......they commit murder to get their guns....so they can commit more murder...

How would anyone prevent someone with a knife from going into a school and stabbing to death multiple peoples? Considering in the majority of stores you can buy some very sharp kitchen knives and they are not locked away they are on full display in the Kitchen products sections.

A safety lock would not prevent a school shooting, all the shooter would have to do would be to remove the safety lock and do the shooting.

This thread is not about school shootings. Its about protecting toddlers from their stupid parents. A safety lock would have saved the youngster in the OP.

No...it wouldn't have.....the same moron who left a gun accessible would not have locked the gun with a safety lock...do you see the issue there? And again, the kids getting accidentally shot are from majority criminal homes...homes where the owner is not allowed to buy, own or carry the gun...at all........so how do you get a criminal who is not allowed to have the gun in the first place to store it safely? Please, explain that to us...

If the kid wanted to kill more people, he could have just rented a truck and run them down as the left school for the day....just like in Nice, France.....where 86 people were murdered in 5 minutes...more than any mass shooting
