The second accusation is based off of a lawyer's recommendation, not a victims memory. This is even more flimsy than the first vague accusations from Dr Ford. I consider these to be simply protest accusations. They don't feel they have to prove any of it.

That's by design. The allegations are so vague they are nearly impossible to refute and they leave no time for a defense. That alone makes them nearly impossible to believe. Of course the true believers spout them like they're Gospel.
