Therefore since we have not seen what Marx wrote in manifesto actually put in practice it can be said that there has not been a true form of communism practiced by any large nation, or for that mater any nation at all.

Now since you want to talk about economic systems, when you base a system upon the accumulation of capital that itself encourages greed. And when you build that accumulation on the backs of forced or underpaid labor, that is sloth. US capitalism died on at least 2 occasions and without outside help from government it would have been long dead as of the 1929 crash.

Behind it, piles of empty tubes which once held lip balm and various (all red) shades of lipstick. Abandoned by liberals when they had tired of kissing the monument's ass.
