Last year the native were being sprayed by water cannons, attacked by dogs, being ran over by white people and they used illegal scare tactics all because they wanted to protect their water supply.

And this Thanksgiving they are cleaning up 200,000 gallons of oil spilled on the same Dakota Reservation.

Just a reminder, don't listen to people who ignore the negatives like the anti crowd does. We saw it coming.

“The leak location is not on Sioux property”-CNN

Keystone Pipeline leaks 210,000 gallons of oil in South Dakota - CNN

What isn't being reported by the liberal based media, is that the section of piping which sprang the leak was constructed long before Trump became president. .....

Did the OP mention Trump? Or just the way Native Americans were treated while they were trying to prevent what just happened?

Progressives may need a reminder of where oil comes from.

Or maybe they know where it comes from. This oil is owned by Transcanada. They are shipping it thru the pipeline so they can sell it and keep the money in Canada.

If the protestors had been successful, would this leak have been prevented?

We saw it coming.
How should we transport oil?

200,000 gallons is not a lot

And that means 200,000 gallons didn't spill?

You know what else they aren't reporting? People who take into consideration when it was built to determine if 200,000 gallons of oil spill is cool or not.

The classic smart dumb guy response. I' guessing that since oil comes from the ground then spilling it anywhere on earth is a net no effect. Just like you breath air so air in all cases is good. Like Cyclones and Hurricanes.

How stupid is it to put a bunch of oil pipelines on top of the second largest aquifer in the world, though? That thing supplies water to several surrounding states. Well, at the very least, it's inconsiderate. And that's tar sands crude, too. The worst of all. What the heck?
