Zone1 It's time to stop using "African American". They are Americans that are black.

You can stop saying African Americans. We're past that. We don't call white people European Americans, we don't have German Americans or Indian Americans. Calling blacks African Americans is giving them special attention and treatment just for being black.

Besides, there are millions of white people who live in Africa for a very very long time. No one calls Elon musk a African American or Charlize Theron African American but they are from Africa that became Americans.

Besides there is no such thing as African American. If you're born in Africa then you're African, if you're born in America you're American.

You're having your language dictated by liberals and what the MSM tells you what's appropriate. They tell you it's what you should call them. But they never tell blacks they shouldn't call white people white because they say that, a lot.

Almost all the blacks in America were born here so they are American. It's time to stop pretending they deserve their own special titles that no one else gets.
we can always call 'm (properly) tanned people when they get tired of both of these descriptions ;)

Some scholarly people say that all humans originated in Africa.

But why are you saying this? It has been commplace for 150 years, so here is Frederick Douglass

From the Frederick Douglass' Paper, January 22, 1852:

The Colonization Scheme

There is no sentiment more universally entertained, nor more firmly held by the free colored people of the United States, than that this is their own, their native land, and that here (for good or for evil) their destiny is to be wrought out. Identified with the entire history of the American people, going back more than two hundred years, this sentiment is natural and praiseworthy. There is not now, there never has been, and we think there will never be, any general desire on the part of our people, to emigrate from this land to any other and least of all, to the wilds of Africa.

well, when investigators are investigating a crime, they want a description of the suspect or person of interest.

I just call them Negroes. However, when I type "Negro" I really mean something else but what I mean is censored out.

If anybody considers themselves an "African" American then they should be deported to the Continent of their dreams.

I think our society has undergone a change which makes it all more complicated.

As our society has began to frown more heavily upon dark-skinned Blacks for existing, then it puts a spotlight on those privileges we now try to grant to light-skinned Blacks.

For example, I heard that light-skinned Blacks who enjoy their new privileges do not want to be called 'Black' because it reminds them of their negro DNA. I heard that most rather be called African American. Whereas millions of USA residents now desire to just refer to those undesirable, dark-skinned Blacks as 'Black' and not African American.
