Is Trump TRYING to lose the election?

Who do they think they're going to put in to replace him? some piece of shit like John Huntsman??
If they put in Kasich, they'd have a candidate that polled consistently beating Hillary in every poll since the start of the primaries. If their chief concern is winning in November..

I laugh my ass off whenever I think about the Right claiming the reason we lost the last two election is because we didn't nominate a conservative. And now the tards have picked johnny-come-lately Trump over SEVERAL real conservatives. Ben Carson, Scott Walker, Ted Cruz, et al.

You can't make this shit up!

I thought this was going to be the year when they ran "the experiment" and run a "true conservative". Specifically, Ted Cruz.

But...he proved himself to be too much of a wanker for most of the GOP base. I actually feel good about the fact that it's possible to be too unlikable for that demo. It gives me hope.

Except Kasich is a progressive career politician, no different than the hildabeast

What you are missing is that the overwhelming majority of Republicans these days are more like the old Blue Dog Democrats.
We don't want someone who doesn't give a damn about the average worker.

His behavior has been so ridiculous that it's a reasonable question.

I think he has one skill - mauling people through the sheer force of his personality to get some real estate deals to go his way.

This skill is not transferable to other professions, and certainly not to political leadership at the highest leve

BINGO
Look what we've had for the last 7+ years, no leadership whatsoever… LOL

Don't worry. The republicans in Congress will keep his ass in check and to the right. I'm impressed at how he wrestled with Ohio's economy and got it back on its feet. He's Christian, but not bombastic. Just standard Midwest style. He's not embroiled in scandals like Hillary & Bill so not sure where you're making the comparison. They're as different as night and day. Kasich is a real straight-shooter. Even if he thinks you won't like what he says, he says it anyway. He's like a Trump, only with self control and experience; & his story doesn't change every 5 minutes according to who is interviewing him.

And....another idiot asks the stupidest possible question.

This is a political discussion forum, genius. It matters because the people who come here like to discuss politics.

Way to go, Templar Kormac.

Who is Templar Kormac?

It's a counterproductive thread. When someone expresses hope and wishes that Trump loses his presidential campaign, then turns around and expresses worry about him intentionally/potentially trying sabotage it, I think "is he truly concerned about the the man's campaign? Why does it matter to him when he's already on board saying he hopes that Trump loses?"

I don't know How anyone can call this RINO conservative??

One by one Republicans are waking up.

Senator Mark Kirk retracts his endorsement of Trump.

Speaker Paul Ryan calls Trump's statements 'textbook definition of racism'.

And meanwhile, in the big Trump bunker, the Trumpbots concoct ever increasingly absurd arguments to defend Trump.

So, Lakhota, why does it matter so much to a person who wants Trump to lose anyway? You have made multiple threads bashing him, pointing out his obvious character flaws, scams, statements and whatnot. Then you lament "is Trump trying to lose the election?"

Once again, why do you care? This thread is a contradiction. It's quite clear to me that it doesn't matter to you one way or the other.

He might also not be all that yuuuuuge of a success in general...

Trump has gotten a good deal of ridicule for efforts like Trump Steaks, Trump Water, Trump University and other similar ventures. But it is difficult to believe someone worth $10 billion would play around with such penny ante gambits. Perhaps it's just ego and the desire to maximize the return on his 'brand'. But the litany of these failed ventures, the possible return on which would be a few million dollars at best, suggests someone with far, far fewer assets and wealth than Trump claims.

Top 10 Reasons To Doubt Trump Is Even A Billionaire

Clinton kept her powder dry. Her timing was perfect.

The email scandal climaxed with the FBI report, and Clinton let the flames burn for a few days. She stayed in hiding.

And then she put into practice the principle that, "The best defense is a good offense." She went after Trump with that flag-shrouded attack on Trump. It was very effective. No one has mentioned the email thing since.

Trump has been off balance ever since.

He is trying to regain the offensive, but he's having a tough time of it now that a lot of heavyweight GOP figures are also punching him.

He had this coming to him. For a while now. His big mouth dug a deep hole.

Fucking tool. Obama sent 6 DOJ lawyer to defend her at the FBI deposition.

What a fucking tool

The socialists want the Establish to win... You know the career politician.
If Trump were to win and become president what do we have to lose? Barry already fucked up everything... Lol

It certainly looks like he's trying to lose. Reminds me of the Richard Pryor movie Brewster's Millions.

What do you want to take his place? If the Republicans were put in an establishment candidate they would be no different than the hildabeast. It would essentially be one party rule when both candidates are the same, no choice there…

He's not concerned. He doesn't want anyone to think that he is concerned. It is a thread mocking Trump.

Why don't you know this, Templar Kormac.

Trump was getting the establishment's support up until past week.
