Is it moral to force people who earn more money to pay progressively higher RATES of taxes?

Should the "WEALTHY" also pay higher sales tax? Would that also be moral?

if you are a millionaire, should you pay $100 for a loaf of bread? Would that be fair and moral?

KARL MARX wrote our tax code, essentially.

Let's look at the 10 planks of MARXISM...doesn't this sound like every Prog you hear crying.... "THE RICH SHOULD PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE!!!"

The Ten Planks of the Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx

1. Abolition of private property in land and application of all rents of land to public purpose.

The courts have interpreted the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution (1868) to give the government far more "eminent domain" power than was originally intended, Under the rubric of "eminent domain" and various zoning regulations, land use regulations by the Bureau of Land Managementproperty taxes, and "environmental" excuses, private property rights have become very diluted and private property in landis, vehicles, and other forms are seized almost every day in this country under the "forfeiture" provisions of the RICO statutes and the so-called War on Drugs..

2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.

The 16th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, 1913 (which some scholars maintain was never properly ratified), and various State income taxes, established this major Marxist coup in the United States many decades ago. These taxes continue to drain the lifeblood out of the American economy and greatly reduce the accumulation of desperately needed capital for future growth, business starts, job creation, and salary increases.

3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.

Another Marxian attack on private property rights is in the form of Federal & State estate taxes and other inheritance taxes, which have abolished or at least greatly diluted the right of private property owners to determine the disposition and distribution of their estates upon their death. Instead, government bureaucrats get their greedy hands involved .

4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.

We call it government seizures, tax liens, "forfeiture" Public "law" 99-570 (1986); Executive order 11490, sections 1205, 2002 which gives private land to the Department of Urban Development; the imprisonment of "terrorists" and those who speak out or write against the "government" (1997 Crime/Terrorist Bill); or the IRS confiscation of property without due process.

5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly.

The Federal Reserve System, created by the Federal Reserve Act of Congress in 1913, is indeed such a "national bank" and it politically manipulates interest rates and holds a monopoly on legal counterfeiting in the United States. This is exactly what Marx had in mind and completely fulfills this plank, another major socialist objective. Yet, most Americans naively believe the U.S. of A. is far from a Marxist or socialist nation.

6. Centralization of the means of communication and transportation in the hands of the state.

In the U.S., communication and transportation are controlled and regulated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) established by the Communications Act of 1934 and the Department of Transportation and the Interstate Commerce Commission (established by Congress in 1887), and the Federal Aviation Administration as well as Executive orders 11490, 10999 -- not to mention various state bureaucracies and regulations. There is also the federal postal monopoly, AMTRAK and CONRAIL -- outright socialist (government-owned) enterprises. Instead of free-market private enteprrise in these important industries, these fields in America are semi-cartelized through the government's regulatory-industiral complex.

7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state; the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.

While the U.S. does not have vast "collective farms" (which failed so miserably in the Soviet Union), we nevertheless do have a significant degree of government involvement in agriculture in the form of price support subsidies and acreage alotments and land-use controls. The Desert Entry Act and The Department of Agriculture. As well as the Department of Commerce and Labor, Department of Interior, the Evironmental Protection Agency, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Mines, National Park Service, and the IRS control of business through corporate regulations.

8. Equal obligation of all to work. Establishment of Industrial armies, especially for agriculture.

We call it the Social Security Administration and The Department of Labor. The National debt and inflation caused by the communal bank has caused the need for a two "income" family. Woman in the workplace since the 1920's, the 19th amendment of the U.S. Constitution, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, assorted Socialist Unions, affirmative action, the Federal Public Works Program and of course Executive order 11000. And I almost forgot...The Equal Rights Amendment means that women should do all work that men do including the military and since passage it would make women subject to the draft.

9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the population over the country.

We call it the Planning Reorganization Act of 1949 , zoning (Title 17 1910-1990) and Super Corporate Farms, as well as Executive orders 11647, 11731 (ten regions) and Public "law" 89-136.

10. Free education for all children in government schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production, etc. etc.

People are being taxed to support what we call 'public' schools, which train the young to work for the communal debt system. We also call it the Department of Education, the NEA and Outcome Based "Education" .

It's pathetic.

The left wants the USA to be communist...they are LOCKSTEP WITH KARL MARX.

Progs love those 10 tenets of Marxism, don't they?

Humans emerged from the great primordial, Eden-named, Self-Service Paradise(?)--itself complete with maggot larvae, and road-kill alleged of a deity--only 5000 years ago. Even the Hebrew Calendar can count it, just like the Gregorian Calendar can count it. Counting, in fact, was able to happen. For a loan of three bags of barley seed, the Civilized human could repay four. "Usury" interest rates were invented. Going further, a community of grower-neighbors was created. Civilization with a stable food supply could happen. "God On A Harley," running over little critters: No longer was necessary.

And So deity was invented. Some humans couldn't count too good(?). Unable to repay bills, the deadbeat dad could sell the wife and kids into slavery, in the Code of Hammurabi. "Slavery" it was called, but a Socialist Welfare concept it was. Rather than getting cast out of the community--left to starve and die--wife and kids got food, clothing, and shelter. Dad could be put again to useful productivity.

Moses, raised a Prince of Egypt, even put the Jew on that. . .the Deity on that. "Usury" was banned in Israel forever. Charging Usury to the goy was put in place in Israel forever. That is in Deuteronomy 23: 19-20. Many call that the origin of Holocaust. Jew became a denigrating concept. Moses himself was of the household of a denigrating conquering, enslaving, brutalizing, lashing with wet noodles and the whole nine yards.

Jesus ben Joseph, Son of Mary, Called, "Oh Christ!" would show the effect of Usury in Matt 25:14-30. The remedy at least appeared to the Obama Administration, Matthew 20:1-16, in the equal amount "Make Work Pay" refundable Income Tax Credit. The Republicans would take that message of New Testament away only two years later.

Follow the counting. Usury computing rewards the rich and denigrates all successively lower incomes. Five gets five, two gets two, and one gets screwed. All income levels are unable to keep up. Clearly, the rich can only buy so much--to satiation and beyond. The poor can't pay the prices. Where will the rich get the money?

Mohammed banned wealth from Riba in Koran. Adam Smith embraced a regulated usury in Wealth of Nations. Karl Marx also ignored the New Testament message, creating a concept of centralized credit instead--easily charging the usury of his own Jewish heritage.

Deity was still among us(?).

The Keynesian economics, of the Gay old criminal himself: Finally, "Bade the People Bend over, and await the Public Works!" Some of that is taught in the school. The concept is based on interest rate regulation.

There has to be a Progressive Income Tax, if there is to be usury in the economy.

THERE CAN BE NO MARKET, IF PEOPLE HAVE NO MONEY TO SPEND IN IT!

A remedy is to take the excess from the rich, and provide the poor with that spending money.

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Many are called, But only few say, "Oh Christ is the answer! Oh Christ is the answer!" In fact, you can't even buy the duty-free smokes at the Vatican gift store, anymore! The Idols of The Jew are probably everywhere!(?)!")

In common law, a progressive income tax predates Karl Marx's birth by a hundred years.

The US had a progressive income tax in place decades before the Communist Manifesto was printed.

What's immoral is that government thinks it needs freaking $4 trillion dollars a year of OUR money to govern a country, holy shit.

Now if you would root for the Cowboys and the Jazz and the Dodgers, we would be copacetic.

Should "RICH" people pay more for EVERYTHING?

Woudln't that be their fair share?

From bubble gum to house and healthcare and all taxes and all fees.

That's the only way to be "FAIR" to everyone.

Karl Marx was right....Progressives agree with him,.

Every expense should be progressive based on WEALTH AND INCOME.

Maybe we can tax the wealthy at 100% tax rate for 100% of their income.

Then the country would be PERFECT!

Or the country would be like Venezuela, because all the rich folk would leave for another country... Happened in France, Venezuela, USSR, Cuba. Liberals will never look to the past on how fucked up countries were and still are when Socialism took hold...Liberals are that stupid.

The Progressive Tax system is inherently immoral. By taxing a higher ratio of the labor of some more than others, it basically says that some people own less of their own lives.

Yes, as perfect as this!:

A Tax Fable

Suppose that everyday 10 men go to PJ's for lunch. The bill for all ten comes to $100. If it were paid the way we pay our taxes, the first four men would pay nothing; the fifth would pay $1; the sixth would pay $3; the seventh $7; the eighth $12; the ninth $18. The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59. The 10 men ate lunch in the restaurant every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement until the owner threw them a
curve.

"Since you are all such good customers," he said, "I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily meal by $20." Now lunch for the 10 would costs only $80. The first four are unaffected. They still eat for free. Can you figure out how to divvy up the $20 savings between the remaining six so that everyone gets his fair share?

The men realize that $20 divided by 6 is $3.33, but if they subtract that from everybody's share, then the fifth and the sixth man would end up being paid to eat their meal. The restaurant owner suggested that it would be only fair to reduce each man's bill by roughly the same amount that each paid and he started to work out the amounts each should pay.

And so the fifth man paid nothing, the sixth pitched in $2, the seventh paid $5, the eighth paid $9, the ninth paid $12, leaving the tenth man with a bill of $52 instead of $59. Outside the restaurant, the men began to compare their savings.

"I only got a dollar out of the $20," declared the sixth man pointing to the tenth, "and he got $7!"

"Yeah, that's right," exclaimed the fifth man. "I only saved a dollar, too. It's unfair that he got seven times more than me!"

"That's true," shouted the seventh man. "Why should he get $7 back when I got only $2? The wealthy get all the breaks."

"Wait a minute," yelled the first four men in unison. "We didn't get anything at all. The system exploits the poor."

The nine men surrounded the tenth man and beat him up. The next day he didn't show up for lunch, so the nine sat down and ate without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important: They were $52 short!

With the exception of Russia

Almost every industrialized country uses a progressive tax structure

Everyone is taxed the same

Every dollar is not taxed the same

B'loney. If one person turns over 10% of his time to the government in taxes, and someone else has to work 50% to pay his tax bill, that is not THE SAME.
