If God's all-powerful why doesn't he ever do anything to protect his faithful and improve their lives? How often does some 3rd world church bus drive off a cliff killing everyone aboard, how often do tornadoes destroy churches, or clergy get assaulted, rape, and murdered? What's the point of serving a deity who doesn't help you in a crisis?
If God were dead on the other hand, then much would be explained. Of course, if God were finite and died is there any point to continuing to worship it?
