Instant Pot Mushroom Risotto

Actually that looks pretty good, I'm saving this recipe. It would go good with grilled Italian sausages.
Try some Fried Mush too.

Wisconsin cuisine ain't too far removed from my part of the country.

The hassle is making the polenta (colloquially refered to as Mush).

Mush is good...but Fried Mush... 😋 🤤

Geez. I've live south of the Mason-Dixon Line most of my life, but have never mush or corn pone.

You're being facetious aren't you. :smoke:

It's died out these days...at least around here.

Well I have had oatmeal, Maltomeal, and grits. Do they count?
Of course.

You can press leftover grits in shallow Tupperware and refrigerate it like Mush, then fry it like Mush. Pretty good stuff.

I thought you were pulling my leg about corn dodgers.

How did you live in the South and miss out on corn dodgers and hoe cakes?

Guess I just got lucky.

P.s. I've made the polenta recipe then turned the leftovers to Mush.

Works perfectly.

granted a special rice....but it is just rice and cooks like rice....just add the cream or whatever at the end...
