I was 12 in 6th grade, 13 in 7th and 14 in 8th. In fact when I started 6th I was 11. I graduated from high school at 17 and college the first time at 21. Second time at 30.

Most of the kids in Uvalde were 10 and finishing 4th grade. That would make them 12 in 6th grade, first year of middle school.
