I'm amazed that this is from Drudge......

Being serious now and Trump is going to lose badly and the GOP only hope is they can retain the Senate and House and if not, well I am moving to Mexico and still building that wall to keep the Trump voters here!

I love that last part......
Seriously......the senate has a very, very good chance to turn for the democrats (but not the house)...If the senate turns, the SCOTUS appointments will all happen within the first 2 years of Clinton's administration. My prediction is that 3 justices will be appointed and consented by the senate.

Even if the Democrats win the Senate, it still takes 60 votes to confirm a Supreme Court Justice.

You are in error.

"If 60 Senators vote to end the debate, the nominee is confirmed by a simple majority vote of the full Senate."

Okay, you fell for satire site Drudge Retort. Admit it and sheepishly stand in the corner.

I'll try to make it up to you.....LOL

Early Voting: Clinton Leading, Could Win Before Nov. 8 Arrives

By law, vote by mail (absentee) ballots cannot be opened before Monday, Oct 24th.
The results cannot be released until after 7 PM election night, Nov 8th.
Is there someone with a crystal ball who can see what's inside those envelopes?
I've been wondering about that, too. Never, ever, do I remember hearing about early voting results before.

In Florida.it's a third degree felony.

She will get three chances but the Senate might give her two and wait until the next Presidential election to see if they can get a GOP President...

A familiar face could be one of them .. although probably not in the first two years.

“He may have a few things to do, but I tell you, that’s a great idea. I mean, he’s brilliant, he can set forth an argument and he was a law professor, so he has got all the credentials, but he would have to get a Democratic Senate to get him confirmed.”

Just two weeks later on February 13, Justice Antonin Scalia died suddenly. Scalia’s passing increases the likelihood that the next president could be tasked with filling four vacancies considering that three of the eight sitting justices are over the age of 75 — Ruth Bader Ginsberg is 83, Anthony Kennedy is 80, and Stephen Breyer is 77.

That's 4 potential appointments for President Clinton.

Why would she do it? Because Obama leaves office a popular president .. AND, it would almost ensure her re-election.

Why would Obama do it? Because it enhances his legacy. It's somthing he's better suited for then be the president.

I respectfully disagree.....Clinton (while she will surely have the senate Dem majority), will fill the current vacancy but ALSO Ginsburg and......just a hunch, Thomas will retire now that his puppet-master is no longer there.

My friend, first of all THAT is a great picture of Obama and Clinton.....and
second, justice Obama would be PERFECT, except that he will have on his conscience, a lot of right wingers' suicides. LOL

As I responded in another post, keep an eye on Thomas also resigning.....

Actually NO........
There is, first, the fact that the VP is president of the Senate; second, there's the so-called "nuclear option" which overrides the 60 votes' rule.....and, third, justice Alito was confirmed with only 58 votes.

nat4900 you really are ate up with the dumbass... Such a liar or just really stupid... I hope you can find someone to help you post from now on...

In 1986, after Chief Justice Warren Burger announced his intention to retire, Mr. Reagan nominated Judge Scalia to the Supreme Court. Though his conservative views were well known, he was confirmed by the Senate by a vote of 98 to 0.

Early Voting Warning Signs for Trump

Democrats appear to be outpacing their 2012 early vote performance in several critical swing states, giving Hillary Clinton a head start on Donald Trump in some of the most important presidential battlegrounds. In two must-win states for Trump, North Carolina and Florida, Republicans are clinging to narrow leads in the total number of mail-in ballots requested. Yet in both states, Clinton is ahead of President Barack Obama's pace four years earlier -- and the GOP trails Mitt Romney's clip. This year, the Clinton campaign expects as many as 40 percent of battleground state votes to be cast before Nov. 8.

......AND...................UPDATE: Clinton is ahead in Florida by 3.0 and ahead in NC by 3.2%.

Early Voting Warning Signs for Trump
This should be no surprise. Trump has demonstrated he's completely inept as a politician making the wrong calls time after time. Most people are coming to the realization that his bad calls in the campaign are just a preview of what would follow as president. I think we may be looking at a landslide for Clinton.

He's clearly not interested. Said so a day or two ago. His family's been through enough, he says.

You mean the same way McConnell did this time? Let's see how that works out for him...

Trump is fucked. Period

Are you sure!?!

I mean if he loses his bid to the White House did he really lose if he earns billions of dollars afterwards!?!

His hotel business is down over 50%. He is not profiting from his run.

It will go back up... When Trump goes down he for some damn reason end back on top... ( Wait you might take that the wrong way and believe he is like Madonna!)

The man knows he will lose and use it to spin it into money that the fringers of society will pay him for!

That is not what sunk the GOP in the Senate...

I have a picture of what might sink the GOP in the Senate and it is not McConnell!

th

The only candidate that was able to actually defeat the GOP!

( Even Ted Cruz would have saved the Senate while losing! )

"If 60 Senators vote to end the debate, the nominee is confirmed by a simple majority vote of the full Senate."

In discussing Senate confirmations of Supreme Court Justices, there is almost never a confirmation vote by party lines.
For example:
5 Republicans crossed the line to vote for Obama's nominee, Keagan
6 Republicans crossed the line to vote for Obama's nominee, Sodamayer
12 Democrats crossed the line to vote for Bush's nominee, Roberts
4 Democrats crossed the line to vote for Bush's nominee, Alito

Means he just ran another one of his cons.
If you're right, he must be shitting his pants at how close he's come to winning.

Who knows what the hell goes on in that head of his, ya'd have to call in a professional for that.
