But the above items will provide a solid foundation for survival. Water is another story. Get a Big Berkey water filter if you can afford it. It is simply the best, all preppers agree.

Don't put off. The globalists mean business. You have seen that over the past two years. Once you are out of food, you are at their mercy. You will line up for the "quarantine" centers or take the free food deliveries, provided you are "vaxxed" of course, which is just another way of killing you when they feel like it.

Once they can't touch much of the population because they are holed up with plenty of food, they will have to give up, because the monetary system will collapse of its own weight. We're in a MUD district.
While the water is drinkable and tastes okay after drinking Ozarka for the last 10 years I can tell a difference.
They flush the system twice a year and they put out a notice not to drink the water for a couple of days.
If you miss the notice it's not a problem since you'll smell the chemicals when you turn on the tap. That they have to do this kinda tells you all you need to know about your water supply.
I'd say if you just want cleaner water for drinking and cooking the Berkey would be a good way to go. The cost is only around 2 cents a gallon over the long haul.
I looked into a whole house system myself and they ain't cheap by any stretch.
