The barrel is a bit short for most bird hunting applications.
Does it come in longer barrels?
It's only a half inch over illegal. The Wife's 870 is cut down and rebeaded to 18.125 and ya really dont want to hunt birds with it.

I may or may not know someone who lost a USAS-12 in a boating accident—one that was seized in a meth production lab raid oh, about twenty years ago, and was cleared to go to auction. But I am probably mistaken. Yeah, now that I think about it I have no clue what I am talking about.

Well the topic is"If I only had one shotgun".
If you could get the same shotgun with another four or five inches on it it would be a great all around shotgun no doubt!!!
Of course this would have to be a SHTF scenario.
Pretty sure the game warden would frown on the capacity.
