If Obama Is A "socialist"....

Personally, I don't think he's a Socialist, I think he's like most, he's into fascism far more than he is socialism.

Your first hint he is not a socialist is he gave a trillion dollars to big business instead of the workers. And if he is a socialist, as the video shows, so are the republicans. Maybe we are just one big happy socialist country. Hows does that myth fit in the con's mind?

Yeah.. because we have all kinds of room for military bases in high income and tax cities like Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago.... and the federal interstate miles in Kansas are less than what they are in Connecticut....
Yes, there are problems in the pet projects many representatives get for their states... but don't just paint this as a blanket picture

Unless, that is, you wish to use the same argument for individuals who pay no income taxes that are gaining benefit from entitlements

Oh yes, go for it Dave!!!! What is this? EXXON MOBILE pays NO TAXES in 2009. Really? That about covers your arguments in bullshit, huh Dave?

Exxon Mobil paid no federal income tax in 2009 Climate Progress

And now you cite winger sites too... figures

Stop believing all your hype based winger sites, and you might actually start to learn something

Lost that argument as well Dave. Try some Starr Bucks Expresso.

I don't think he's a socialist, Mussolini would give subsidies to insurance companies;not Karl Marx. He's into corporate Fascism just like his predecessor, imho.

I recall reading a book by Howard Jarvis in the 70's that talked about this, how there were hundreds of hidden taxes on a simple loaf of brad, how insurance costs GM more each year than the materials that cars were built from and so much more, that's the fault of government, not capitalism, we went through Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton, Bush Jr. and now half way through Obama and corporations still employ thousands of corporate attorneys, lobbyists and accountants to keep from paying taxes.

I agree with that, yet capitalism is a myth, because it cannot survive without government intervention.

I don't know about that, black markets flourish without regulations and intervention, the only thing that causes the grief such as the killings on our border is due to government intervention, abolish the "War on (some) Drugs and that problem would be about as big a problem as moonshiners.

.....and, that's such a bad thing....how do Republicans get-away with being such enthusiastic-beneficiaries?

:eusa_eh:
the people on social security and medicare have paid into the system their entire lives, they were'nt asked if they wanted to pay into the system they were told they would pay into the system and then when they reached old age they would receive social security and medicare.

Aside from your bullshit, fudge-face, how is that different than National Health Care?? Hmm? And you don't have to pay into social security or medicare, you have the choice to avoid the American government, and starve.

I sell Medicare Supplements, actually "most" have to pay into Medicare Part A, I say "most" since there are exceptions such as the Railroad, government employees, etc.

Medicare Part "B" is an option as is "C", now "D" is but you will get charged a penalty if you don't join when your eligible if you ever do join.

It's complicated to try and explain on a forum:tongue:

A flea market of used goods would be capitalist, and the drugs you note,..........nothing on a massive size. I guess Prostitution would be our greatest capitalistic venture in America.

You and your winger sites are WRONG.... as a matter of fact, Exxon has in recent history paid in the top 3 of all US corporations for income taxes and has many times paid the MOST in taxes of any US corporation in a given year

Epic fail, winger

You might remember, but it has only been a few years back that government began forcing you to get a SS number for new borns. There are easy ways to avoid the government, and survive in America. Most people opt in because they want the entitlements of ss & medicare, etc.

No idiot... I showed you DIRECTLY on Forbes and other sites that XOM paid 15.1BIL in taxes last year...

XOM - EXXON MOBIL CORP Income Statement - Forbes.com

You and your winger sites are wrong when you put out your absurd claims that XOM paid no income taxes... 15.1BIL... F-A-C-T

Care to retract yet?

As you see winger... your little "climate progress" winger site is what you used to support your claim... which I have thoroughly shown is WRONG

Take a look at the red states. You will find that most of them are federal welfare states, receiving more back from the fed than they pay in.

Take away the federal tit they are sucking and they would likely collapse
.

Yeah.. because we have all kinds of room for military bases in high income and tax cities like Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago.... and the federal interstate miles in Kansas are less than what they are in Connecticut....

How many Progressives even realize that they were named that because they are Progressing toward Socialism?

As you see winger... your little "climate progress" winger site is what you used to support your claim... which I have thoroughly shown is WRONG

As you can see, the lil winger website got its information from FORBES, that other "winger" site you prefer to ignore, while using such off the wall links as Google & Yahoo!!! LMAO!!! You might be asking what reference does Google & Yahoo cite for their information?? Hmmm?

Dave = WRONG AGAIN!!!!!!

C'mon winger shit-tao... wanna dig deeper?

Right from the forbes article that your winger site tried to cherry pick from....
http://www.forbes.com/2010/04/01/ge-exxon-walmart-business-washington-corporate-taxes_2.html
"Mind you, not all global megacorps enjoy such low tax rates. Try to muster some pity for Big Oil. ExxonMobil ( XOM - news - people ) in its 2009 annual report to the SEC, recorded a larger income tax expense than any other U.S. company last year, some $17.6 billion, or 47% of pretax earnings." that shows for 2008... and since the article was written before Exxon's returns for 2009 were completed... "Though Exxon's financial statement's don't show any net income tax liability owed to Uncle Sam, a company spokesman insists that once its final tax bill is figured, Exxon will owe a "substantial 2009 tax liability.""... and as shown, they ended up paying 15.1BIL in income taxes for 2009.. as per the financial statements that I linked to you

Epic fail, you idiot asshole troll...
