“If God does not exist, then all things are permitted.”

God does not exist but the Law of the Land will hold you accountable for committing crimes.

So no, all things are not permitted even though god does not exist.
We can't buy alcohol in North Carolina on Sunday till after 12 PM.

Is that supposed to be "evidence" that god exists?

Or that there are people who just want to exercise control over others and will use whatever means necessary to do so?

You can't prove Go does not exist.
Law of the Land is different all over the world and in different states. It's not absolute.
All things are permitted still - if I want to commit a crime and am willing to pay the price, I am permitted to do it at my own choice.

The onus is on you to prove your god exists since you made the claim.

.
On another thread you claimed He didn't exist, hop to it fat boy

Without God, morality is self-defined.

Why is that bad thing?

I am more than capable of coming up with my own morality.

Relationships are based on trust and so betraying that trust would be immoral hence I value the trust enough to be moral. I don't need your imaginary being to dictate that morality since I was more than capable of figuring it out for myself.

Ever notice how those who want government to butt out of their lives are more than willing to force their religion into the lives of others, by force of government if needs be?

So no, your imaginary god does not define my morality.

Atheists do things because it is the right thing to do
The religious do it out of a fear of a vengeful God

Actually, Christian's do the right (Christ-like) thing because they LOVE God, not out of fear.

You need to read your Ten Commandments

for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the second third and fourth generation.

As much as many would like to believe how they are in control of their own world, we have 0 control over everything or anything someone else does, or what happens .
The only thing that we have control over is how we react to a situation.

If there is no God and thus, no afterlife, you just live and you die, you certainly would be dum

If there is no God and morality is self-defined, there is chaos. Do you think everyone is going to have the same moral code? Probably not.

Also, people don't have control of other people.
God has control. But people just don't like to hear that.

Who is forcing their religion on others? People will strong convictions are going to stand by them, it's called commitment. And demanding to be heard is a right all people have. Even Christians.

Where was God when the natives were pushed out and killed by the Christian nation you inhabit?

You need to read your Ten Commandments

There is not a mention of LOVE in it

Jesus said, there are 2 great commands, the 1st is to love thy God the 2nd is to love thy neighbor as thyself.

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (Matthew 22:35-40)

We the People control ourselves through something called society.

We organize ourselves and have Laws of the Land to maintain order.

We the People uphold your right to believe whatever fairy tales about mythical beings you want as long to as you keep them to yourself and don't try to force others to comply with your delusions.

We the People don't need your imaginary being or his perverted "morality" that discriminates against our fellow Americans.

We and the Earth we reside on are in a fallen state.
Because we chose our own way and sin over God.

If God did not exist, there would be no sense of morality, guilt, conscious, right nor wrong. In short the concept of justice would not exist, we would be ruled by force and forced to remain servants to the strongest. The very premises of which communism and socialism depends upon.

I don't do this.
Any honestly, I don't know anyone else that does....
Everyone has what they believe is best for society.
A Christian believes in Godly principles and has every right to speak about them.

I need to go, but, will try to answer you tomorrow or later if I have not.

Thanks for all the (mostly) good discussion.....

So according to the Bible, the words of God,,somewhere it's noon...drink up!

No one is denying you your right to speak.

You just don't have the right to impose your beliefs on others. The Constitution protects us with freedom from religion.

Sorry...no Jesus for you

The OP says God and not Jesus

Most of the world does not believe in Jesus as God
