You call Shattered a ho for expressing her opinions, and you call me intolerant...

You are intolerant. And to Shattered, I apologize. She may not charge.

You've gone loony, that's not speech, it's vandalism. I don't defend such actions, nor have I ever. get a grip.

No. The work thing is you being intolerant.

What do you do for a living? (You need not be specific, but what type of environment do you work in?)

What constitutes appropriateness varies from person to person.
That's funny, I thought Christian morality dictated exactly what is appropriate and what is not.

Hey missileman, are you jewish?
What could possibly have led you to ask this question?

Next ban swearing !!---it offends a lot of people

Again, you may not swear in my place of employment..It's a professional setting for work-related activities.. For that, we can ask you to leave, and if you refuse, we can have to escorted off the premesis. If you're going to stick profanity-laden handbills to my car, that's going to tick me off just as much as a religious one...

I agree with you that religion has no place in the workplace. But neither does putting down religion. I have to deal with people every day that are not Christians. Probably moreso than you have to deal with people that are Christian. And they are my CUSTOMERS. I don't wear my faith on my sleeve and they don't wear theirs on their sleeves. As long as that happens, then al is cool. We actually discuss it sometimes, but only when it is mutually agreeable to do so.

If a Christian chooses NOT to check his faith at the door then it would be up the his boss to decide what is appropriate behvior and what is not.

But you don't believe in christianity.

I ask this question because in my experience many jews are reasonable on every issue except freedom of religious expression, due to their paranoia of being shoved into ovens again.

Well? Are you?

I live in a small hicktown in the middle of nowhere. There are more churches than restaurants here. There are a select few that *insist* upon finishing their transaction by pointing out that they can help me become "saved". I'm not under the impression I NEED saving. I've always believed I was a good person, with good morals, strong beliefs, and an ingrained sense of right & wrong with feelings of guilt when I see others hurt, and the need to help others when I can.

Between you, and Rtwng, you've managed to convince me that because I like work to be for work related things only, and my personal property left alone, that I'm completely intolerant of the human race, I'm full of nothing but double standards, and I'm pretty much not fit to live, all because I disagree with *some* Christian "values". Oh, and I'm a "ho", to boot.

Congratulations, and thank you for that clarification of my life. G'day.

I agree from a customer standpoint. But between employees, religion does NOT belong in the workplace. Period. It can lead to too many problems.

Who said your property should be touched I didn't. You're off your rocker. Increase the dosage.

That's right, but I believe you do and you said appropriateness varies from person to person. That shouldn't be true among Christians should it?

Nope, I'm not Jewish.
