That reminds me of the time my gerbil died on the bottom of my cage and I never knew it until it started smelling like death inside my house a few days or maybe even a week after the fact.

Well, we finally found out where the chipmunk came from. The cat was on its tail today after I spotted it when I was eating lunch as it started checking out the grocery bags. Unfortunately we didn't catch it (and neither did the cat) but at least we know the spot/hole where they're coming in from now.
