That "Arabic spring" stirred by Americans is just huge challenge for Israel, strange as it may seem. Change of power in neighboring Arabic states had been long awaited as something healthy and encouraging for Israel. But in reality things went absolutely different! There are Islamic radicals in power in Egypt, Islamic radicals have become more active and blasts on gas pipelines occur regularly just! Mind that Egyptian gas supplies to Israel account for 40% of its fuel needs!
Fancy this sort of revolution in Syria.... It could only make things worse for Israel already encircled by hostile states.
Most vital thing isn't available in the region and that is stability! I suspect Americans instigating revolutionary changes in the Middle East didn't care about interests of Israel, its main ally in the region.
