How the country is divided

Christians fought against Slavery eh? Who do think owed the slaves, the Hindus?
Abolitionist Movement - Black History - HISTORY.com
Radical abolitionism was partly fueled by the religious fervor of the Second Great Awakening, which prompted many people to advocate for emancipation on religious grounds. Abolitionist ideas became increasingly prominent in Northern churches and politics beginning in the 1830s, which contributed to the regional animosity between North and South leading up to the Civil War.
My type brought your country into being. Kind of a shame we were generous enough to let you be here.
Typical socialist attitude. The truth is that government was formed for the people by the people. Your top down philosophy proves your type had no part in it.

The truth is that's not anything like actual American history. The Founders wanted the People to stay the hell out of the way. You were the thing that would kill it if you got your hands on the levers of government, which is why they granted you such a small and limited role, a vote here or there. That is American History, what you believe are Sarah Palin quality myths.

It was our war. Your type fled to Canada.
Your type didn't come along until the government got big enough to suckle off of.

What does your post and posts have to do with the OP? You are breaking forum rules by trying to derail the thread.

I'm noticing this trend all over the board today. I don't want to start going gung ho and reporting to the mods, but I'm getting really close. So why don't you knock it off and discuss the OP.

Rural vs City.

So who owned these slaves? Oh right, other Christians.

Why don't you post to the guy who started it, and go read a book in the bath.

Rural vs City has always been in play but never so much as it is today. Why because those in cities don't understand country at all.

At least in the past there was some understanding of rural and country but not anymore. Not at all.

Speaking of slaves, it didn't stop northern factories from making clothes out of all that cotton gin slave labor that was produced.

At the end of the day most of those blue dots are on nuclear target map, LOL.

Look it's a cool forum. But it does have rules. Why don't you just abide by them? You are purposefully attempting to derail the thread. Ruh roh. A big no no.

If you want to start a thread on your very own bitching about Christians and slaves well by all means do so.

But stop trying to derail this thread.

.

Geography is only one of many ways this country is divided, thanks to Identity Politics and PC.

.

I absolutely agree.

In the past, even the most partisan dimocraps didn't try to divide Americans.

Today, we have a dimocrap party that is dead set on setting Americans against other Americans.

Look at the threads they start in here EVERY DAY.

I mean every day.

Blacks against whites, women against men, gay butt-rangers against normal human beings, urban against rural, class against class.

All they do, all dimocrap scum do anymore is incite hate. It's all they do.

They've even started using the word 'denier' which is usually reserved for those who 'deny' the Holocaust, on people who disagree with ManBearPig (who BTW, got STINKING rich on his lies) on the global warming bullshit in order to take over an even bigger swath of the economy..... Energy production and use.

And they've adopted some of the worst tactics, some of the worst approaches, usually reserved for Carny Barkers...

Think about it.... ManBearPig sounds just like a Carny Barker.

And the Lying Cocksucker In Chief?

He sounds just like a Southern Tent Revival Preacher complete with fainting women and the promise to 'heal'...

The problem with this Country isn't poverty. It isn't skin color. Nor is it sexual preference, gender differences, drugs, jobs, class distinctions or anything else other than --

dimocraps.

People, dimocraps are the scum of the Earth. They just simply are.

You had all better wake up and realize that before it's too late.

lots of righties here are the same way....divide.....you dont think like me ...fuck you....you are one of them.....you hate anyone who is to the left.....you say it in just about every post you throw up.....so you are a divider too....be honest why dont you and admit it....

Back to the OP. I think we are seeing this battle in politics globally. City vs rural.

Grab this one. I don't think I'd have believed it if my husband and I hadn't heard it with our own ears. It was an interview between Adler and a representative of the health ministry of Manitoba.

This interview was concerning the downing of our rescue helicopter over a review and the use of the rescue helicopter in general.

This rep from the ministry actually told Charles Adler that he thought that the money used to save people in the rural sections in Manitoba and btw that's mega mega quizzillion square miles was a waste of money.

That if they didn't have to worry about rescuing people in the country with this STARS program they could rescue more people in places like Selkirk or Portage la Prairie.

This is a member of the ministry of Health of my province actually giving voice to urban counts more than rural.

Aye carumba!
"We don't count in the hinterlands" just validated. Live on radio.

Can you honestly say that the country should run by one set of values? Let me rephrase a quote for you: "a country UNITED CANNOT, yes CANNOT survive.". If you think otherwise the proof is in the pudding. Having only one side rule would equal the death of the country. No matter what side. Balance is the ONLY way for survival.

Small-government slave owners.........

Verses today's BIG government slave owners. They've created a HUGE base dependent on free handouts.

Where do I sign up? Oh, that's right, I don't qualify, but many repubs do where I live....muchas mas repubs....than dems live here in a red state and in McDonald county Missouri, Same goes in Okiehoma in which I live 5 miles away from...

Liberals little buddy, just a bit more advanced than the ones 220 years ago. We gave up the Slaves, and the idea you could be mostly left to your own without causing too much damage.
Libs are socialists and the primary slavery freedom fighters were Abolishionists, Christians, not libs. In fact, there weren't many libs back then because life was tough. Only the strong survived.
Your mythology is noted, and wrong as usual.

Christians fought against Slavery eh? Who do think owed the slaves, the Hindus?
Learn a little history. That abolitionists started when the Second Great Awaking began and was instrumental in the abolitionist movement.

Second Great Awakening - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I even picked a website you socialists don't complain about.

Here, the libs call it 'fly over country'. But then again they think food grows in Safeway.
