Let's say you are one of the suckers who buy every hoax du jour.....including Global Warming.

Mull this over:

It's impossible to say exactly how many glaciers existed in 1950. We can't even say for certainty how many exist today (estimates place the known glaciers at around 198,000, with up to 200,000 possible unknown ones) and we have access to satellites to help us study remote areas. That technology did not exist in 1950.

We can count how many glaciers there were 1 billion years ago ... just not very accurately ... glaciers grow and retreat: daily, seasonally, and with the glacial/interglacial cycle ... their numbers remain the same as long as mountains remain the same ...

Glaciers are evil and kill humans ... we should produce more CO2 to help drive them away ... your local forest will thank you ... and we can watch Siberians get fat and fruitful ...

So is Greenland and the Poles.

If Greenland ALONE Melts sea level goes up app 23'.

Glacier on land moving away from the nearest pole = melting = Europe and America
Glacier on land moving towards the nearest pole = growing = gets 600 miles away a CONTINENT SPECIFIC ICE AGE HAPPENS

The question is WHY was Detroit under at least a mile of ice 1 million years ago. What caused that? Why is Greenland frozen way south of the Arctic Circle while Alaska has trees and moose way north of the Arctic Circle. What causes that discrepancy?
